Keep in mind

- If you’ve lost your card and there’s a chance you’ll find it, a temporary lock keeps your card secure while you look for it and saves the hassle of cancelling your card.

- However, if you have permanently lost your card, you and any other cardholder must report your card as lost or stolen through Westpac App or Online Banking.

- Cards held by other cardholders will be cancelled too.

- Use your Digital Card right away while you wait for your new card to arrive.

How to report your card as lost or stolen

In the Westpac App

- Log on to the Westpac app

- Search lost or stolen in the Smart Search bar and tap Report lost or stolen

- Choose the right card

- Confirm your address is correct and follow prompts to cancel your card and request a new one.

In Online Banking

- Log on to Online Banking then go to Service > Services 

- Under Card services select Report lost or stolen cards

- Find the right card then click Continue

- Confirm your address is correct and follow prompts to cancel your card and request a new one.

    This app has gotten so much better in the last eight years since my first review. It's a really good banking experience now. I especially like getting notifications about my transactions.

    Push notifications were doing fine, but then they just stopped after the latest update. I had set the app to send push notifications and also allowed them in the device settings on my Android 12 Samsung S10. Everything else seemed to be working alright. However, it turns out that the device name in the app settings had actually changed unknowingly. Now everything is back to normal and working correctly.

    I really like this app. It has a simple and user-friendly layout. There are no bothersome ads that take away from the experience. It only displays the fields you need, which is great. The SMS notifications after payment provide a sense of security and reassurance.

    The banking app works well, but it's really annoying. It randomly opens new tabs on Google when I'm not even using the app and tries to make me download it on other devices like a virus. I have to uninstall the app every time I finish using it to prevent this from happening on my phone. Even when all permissions are turned off, it keeps doing this. It's very frustrating.

    You know, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling this app so many times on my Samsung S21 FE, but it just won't work. Every time I enter my details, I'm left staring at a 'loading' wheel that never stops spinning. It's probably something to do with this phone model, but it's really getting on my nerves.

    This app is great! It helps keep track of monthly expenses and lets you pay anyone, lock or activate cards, and more. Plus, it always works smoothly on my Samsung Galaxy A8 tablet.

    The year was 2019, no troubles with my Android device, so user-friendly. But now, on the 29th of July 2021, it seems like this app has encountered a major issue. It crashed not once but twice in recent months, working slowly and displaying only specific content. Strangely, instead of titles, there are odd subject numbers showing up. Tanya's advice sounds automated. If folks are voicing concerns about this app here, why redirect them to contact Westpac by email? That seems pointless and a waste of time. Instead of denying it, it's crucial to acknowledge and address these bugs appropriately.

    I contacted the digital services team last Wednesday, on the 19th of June. It took a bit of time to speak with someone. I told them about my problem with not getting push notifications on my phone for credits and debits. We went through some troubleshooting steps and checked the operating system version and the app version I had. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the app, turned on push notifications for credits and debits within the app, as well as enabling push notifications and granting full permissions on my device. Sadly, the issue wasn't resolved even after they said it had been passed on to the IT team.

    This app has improved a lot lately and I really like the drag feature to move things around. However, there's this thing called dynamic CVC that bugs me. Every time I pay bills or shop online, I have to open the app to verify it. And now, there's a glitch that doesn't always show my lifetime savings goals. I have to close and reopen the app, and sometimes it only fixes one goal. If you have many, you have to repeat the process. Recent updates somehow make you reinstall the app.

    Hey! So, the Quick Balance feature on the app suddenly stopped working for me in the past few weeks. Whenever I try to use it, a message pops up saying, "we need to update your settings. Please sign in". I've signed in countless times but can't find any option to update my settings. I also tried toggling the Quick Balance feature on and off several times, but no luck there. The app is already updated too. It's frustrating dealing with these inconsistencies in the app.
