The VoipDiscount app provides three calling options:

Voip Call: This is the traditional calling feature; your call will connect instantly. A functional 3G or WiFi connection is required to use this option. You will incur the standard rates of your VoIP provider without any additional fees or hidden charges.

Call Back: The Call Back feature is an excellent way to keep in touch with loved ones, even when your internet connection isn’t optimal. If you're dealing with a weaker 3G or WiFi signal, or if you aim to conserve data usage, you can opt for a Call Back call through the VoipDiscount application. We will first establish a connection to your phone and then link you with the person you wish to reach. Charges will apply for both calls involved, along with an additional setup fee.

Local Access: In select countries, we provide Local Access numbers. If you're located in one of these regions, you can utilize the VoipDiscount app to initiate a Local Access call when facing a weak internet connection. Charges will apply for the local call in addition to the rate for the destination you are contacting.

How to Use VoipDiscount with your SIP device

- You need a VoipDiscount username and password in order to call via our network. So first sign up with VoipDiscount by downloading and installing the application and create your login.

- You can use VoipDiscount with the following types of Sip devices:

♦ SIP ATA (Analogue Telephone Adapter)

♦ SIP Router

♦ xDSL Modem

- The most devices are equipped with a combination of the following ports.

♦ (A)DSL: connect your line from your (A)DSL provider (not available on a ATA)

♦ WAN: connect your line from your xDSL modem/router

♦ LAN: port for your (home) network, you can connect e.g. your PC, lap-top, network-printer or wireless router

♦ PHONE: here you can connect your analogue telephone

♦ LINE: connect your analogue (PSTN) telephone line

♦ USB: you can connect PC or lap-top with a free USB port

👉Some SIP devices have more than one LAN port and/or PHONE port available.
