Here are some tips for using UpToDate:

Accessing UpToDate: You can access UpToDate from a computer with internet access or through the mobile app. To access UpToDate via a computer, go to www.uptodate.com and click the “Log In” button.

Mobile App Access: Download the UpToDate mobile app from the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play (for Android). After installing, log in with your UpToDate username and password. You only need to enter your credentials the first time you use the app.

Registration: To register for an UpToDate account, access UpToDate from within your institution's network. Click the "Log In/Register" button and complete the registration form using your institutional email address.

Earning CME Credits: Registering for an UpToDate account allows you to earn CME/CE/CPD credits. To change your CME options, go to CME > Settings, from the CME Credit Type, click Edit, then select the desired credit type.

Maintaining Access: To maintain uninterrupted access to UpToDate Anywhere, you must re-verify your affiliation with your organization every 90 days. To re-verify, log in to UpToDate from a computer connected to your hospital or organization’s network.

Mobile App on Multiple Devices: You can log in to the UpToDate app on two mobile devices and also access UpToDate on your computer. To change the devices, log out of a device by going to Settings then Account Info or log in to your UpToDate account from a computer.
