What is an Add-In Card and why is it recommended?

An Add-In Card is a high-speed USB expansion card installed in a PC. Trackman recommends using one when connecting IDS cameras to: 

Ensure smooth video rendering

Prevent lag or dropped frames

Provide dedicated bandwidth for camera data

Look for USB 3.0 ports (usually blue) on the card for optimal performance.

What do common camera settings mean?

Gain: Controls signal amplification from the camera sensor

Gamma: Adjusts how black transitions to white on screen

Pixel Clock: Controls how fast pixels are transmitted

Frame Rate: Number of frames captured per second
