Tournament Manager - Tournament creation & management

Establish and oversee your own tournaments. Include participants, create a Round Robin schedule, track results, and monitor standings.

You have the option to provide access to other users, allowing them to view the results and standings or to manage the tournament.

Results and standings can be viewed through a web browser, making it easy to share with both smartphone and desktop users.

The application requires internet connectivity since all data is stored in the cloud.

Yes, currently Tournament Mgr is available on iPhone/iPad.

3 I want to make my tournament a best of 3. How do I modify the number of games per matchup?

Navigate to the “Manage tournament” view and click manage rounds, then just set each round to be the total number of number games in the series you would like.

4 What is Tournament Mgr?

Tournament Mgr is a tournament management application where as a tournament organizer, you can create and manage tournaments, so your participants and fans stay up to date with matchup and tournament information.

5 What kind of tournaments can I create?

Currently Tournament Mgr supports Single Elimination Tournaments, Square Pools, and double elimination which now in beta.

Pools

1 How do I unlock my grid?

Grids can be unlocked by clicking the 🔒 icon on the grid.

2 How do I change numbers after randomizing?

Randomization can be done through Grid Tools

3 Why is my grid locked?

Grids are locked during the tournament to prevent tampering with the grid when selecting winners. If you need to modify the grid, you can unlock it by clicking the 🔒 icon on the grid.

4 How do I add members to a grid?

Members can be added through the Pool Members view or by selecting an unlocked grid and clicking the Assign Square to New Member button.

5 What is a guest vs existing member?

A guest is a member that is not registered in the pool. An existing member is a member that has been registered to any square in the pool.

6 When do I pay for my grid?

Grids are free to create, and you can pay for them any time. After 10 squares are assigned, you will be required to enter payment.

7 What is an announcement?

Announcements are a way to communicate with your pool members via the email they were created with.

How do I create a tournament?

In the iPhone/iPad app, from the “Tournaments View” click the “+” button. If you are on any other view you can open the sidebar menu and click “Create Tournament”. On the web, you can create a tournament by clicking your avatar and then select "create tournament" Once you fill out the tournament details, click next and you can confirm the details. If you need to modify any parameters click back. Once you have confirmed the details by clicking “confirm” the tournament will be created and you will be presented with a generated bracket for your tournament.

How do I get my tournament featured?

Featured tournaments are selected every hour from those who have the most unique views. To have your tournament featured, simply share with all your friends and family.

How do I modify players & teams that are in my tournament?

Navigate to the “Manage tournament” view and click edit players/teams, then just tap the player or team you would like to modify.

Share Codes

How do I create a sharecode?

You can create a share code in the iPhone/iPad app on the “Manage Tournament” view. Just click the “Create Share code” button, and enter a share code. It will check the share code database to make sure the entered code is unique. Once it is finished you can start sharing the share code with your players, coaches friends and family.

How do I subscribe to a tournament using a sharecode?

In the iPhone/iPad app, navigate to the “Find Tournaments” view. Enter the share code in the text box and click subscribe.

What is a share code?
