- Call Recording: Don't miss important or old conversations. Automatically record all calls via settings. With AI Call Recording (beta) feature, view calls like chats and even search desired content.

- T Phone Themes: Break away from uniform calling experiences. Explore dozens of diverse phone themes offered by T Phone to find your unique style. You can also design your own T Phone theme using the theme creation tool.

T Phone App Setup Guide for First-Time Users

To start using the T Phone app for the first time, you need to go through a few simple setup steps. Follow the guide below to complete the setup easily.

1. App Download and Installation

Search for "T Phone" in the Google Play Store or App Store to download the app.

Once the download is complete, install and launch the app.

2. Permission Approval

Upon launching the app, you’ll be prompted to grant permissions for phone, contacts, microphone, etc.

Allow all permissions for smooth usage.

3. Login

If you’re an SKT user, log in with your SKT account.

Users of other carriers can create a T ID or log in with an SNS account.

4. Basic Settings

After logging in, select your desired features on the initial setup screen (e.g., spam blocking, call recording, etc.).

Once settings are complete, T Phone will be activated as your default phone app.

5. Using Additional Features

To use extra features like NUGU integration or T114 search, proceed with additional settings in the settings menu.

[Permissions required when using T Phone]

1.Essential Permissions：

- Phone: Subscriber authentication, outgoing calls.

- Contacts: View and edit stored contact information.

- Call Logs: View and modify call history information.

2.Optional Permissions：

- SMS: View message records, chat during calls.

- Location: T114 distance-based search, navigation, recommend Today content, Home-Fi Call setup and calls.

- Storage: Call recording, phone themes, image uploads, voice messages, call and video calls.

- Microphone: Call recording, voice messages, call and video calls, baro (Roaming), voice commands.

- Camera: Call and video calls, regular video calls (excluding basic devices with Oreo OS or higher).

- Nearby Devices: Call and video calls, baro, voice commands.

* Service access may be limited for features requiring optional permissions if consent is not granted.

The app targets Android 8.0 and above, so devices below Android 8.0 cannot selectively agree/revoke permissions.
