The game is available to play only in portrait mode and the thing we liked the most about the game is you don’t even need your entire hand to play the game, you can do it with just a finger. Yes, a single finger. The only thing you mostly have to control in the game is a joystick for your character’s movements and that only requires a single finger.

The gameplay is so simple but good that as soon as you start the game, you start getting the gist of what the game is about and after a few minutes of playing you get very familiar with the basics. The game is filled with endless quests, arena battles, and demonic bosses to explore and defeat. Sword Hero: Adventure Time might be a very simple game but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. The game gets progressively harder and you get the feel of it after just a few levels when you face your first defeat.

The game is simple. You spawn in your city. This city is like your safety point- it is the point in the game where no one will attack you, it is where you can heal yourself, enhance your attributes, buy chests, spin the Epic Roulette, and hatch the pet eggs that you might find after killing a boss or an enemy. It is the place where you can prepare for your battles and get ready to slay all your enemies.

As you move around you’ll understand you can’t do it without facing challenges because as soon as you leave your island you’ll start facing monsters and bosses that only have one motive which is to kill you, but you’ll have to outsmart them and with defeat them with your strategic gameplay.

It is a single-map game that expands to different levels progressively getting harder and harder after each location. You have to unlock new locations with harder bosses with coins that you get after defeating an enemy. There are portals on bridges that connect these locations so if you ever feel that you need to heal up or change your weapons you can quickly go back to your city and do that but, you better be fast as the soldiers that surround the bosses keep on respawning even after you’ve killed them.

1. Master the character movements to easily defeat enemies

You can’t just win battles by having the best equipment in this game, you must also know how to move your character. It seems very easy- using one finger to move your character with a joystick but it can be very tricky sometimes, especially in battles.

If you move directly into your enemy you’ll lose a heavy amount of HP, so the main thing you have to keep in your mind when you battle is to maintain your distance. Also, never corner yourself, try to stay on the edges but don’t overdo it, as you might get stuck near a tree and the army of monsters following you will easily be able to defeat you. So try keeping your distance from the enemy and stay away from obstacles and edges.

2. Upgrade your equipment to become invincible

Upgrading your equipment is the first and the most important step to getting better at the game. Even if you have the most common gear, upgrading them to higher levels will only benefit you in future battles. Investing in upgrading your weapons and armor can significantly enhance your combat skills. Focus on upgrading your favorite weapons, as these will be your primary tools for dealing damage.

By increasing their power and unlocking additional abilities, you’ll become more effective in battles. Additionally, prioritize upgrading your defensive gear to increase your survivability. Stronger armor can absorb more damage, allowing you to endure longer in challenging encounters. So don’t be frugal and invest in things that will help you progress easily in the game.

3. Complete Side Quests to progress easily

Side quests in Sword Hero: Adventure Time is a great way to speed up your game progress. Engage NPCs in conversation and take up their side quests to go on more adventures.
