How to play
Titans
There are currently 3 main titan with an additional 4th new titan. Each of the main titan have a similar set of deck with the only differences lying in their hero powers and their 2 unique units. The three main titans are mainly Theos, Mortis and Oakroot. The 4th new titan is called Scraps with a completely different set of units.
Units
Units are the only ones that can capture cannons on the lane, with the exception of one spell (claim). Furthermore, units deal damages to opponent’s health points when they reach the end of the lane. Different types of units deal varying amount of damages to the opponent.
Another type of units would be the 3 ancients. These ancients have to be hired before each game and would only be available for use for that game, they are not permanent, however, they are relatively cheap to hire at 30 coins and give you quite an advantage, with various different abilities.
Spells
Spells are mainly split into 2 classes, supporting or damaging. The supporting class would help to disable your opponent or buff your units, or even steal a cannon. The damaging spells either damage a single lane, or deal random damage to units on the field, or destroy everything in a lane.
Coins
Coins are the primary currency in the game, which is used to purchase upgrades or even hire the Ancients. These coins can be earned through winning games and buying them of course. The secondary uses of these coins are to buy charges.
Runes
Runes are the secondary currency in the game. These are used to unlock titans, one of the most important aspect of the game. Furthermore, runes can be used to purchase outfits, new looks for the various titans, of which have no special effects, but make you look a whole lot cooler.
Power Charges & Mana Charges
Power and mana charges have to be bought using coins and are the only currency usable in game. However, they are also limited in use not just by how many charge you have but how much you have upgraded your upgrades.
Upgrades
Upgrades are the only way an older player can actually gain an advantage over newer players other than leveling the skill tree. Upgrades would grant more health, or have a higher max mana or even use more power charges and mana charges. Which are also, capped by levels.
These of which, i feel would not give them an unfair edge, but sufficiently reward the pioneers of the games. Higher health point would not matter if you cant win a lane, a higher max mana would not matter because your mana regeneration rate is the same. And more mana and power charges, would not matter unless you have lots of charges lying around or you are a casher.
Skill tree
Skill trees are unlocked when you reach certain levels and you will be granted with the ability to choose to upgrade 1 of 2 spells or units. This skill tree would grant minor bonuses to you and reward you for levelling up. Furthermore, the skill point is not permanently invested and can be switched at any point of time in the game.
GUIDE
Sandstorm spell
by xMorog at Reddit
There are multiple uses for this spell that I am aware of, which are
Stalling - the most common and basic use of the Sandstorm, this method usually involves a 3 cannon overcharge. Basically, you use the sandstorm to slow down enemy units that approach the cannon you are currently in control of. Can be used to launch an overcharge attack or to deal the 1 damage necessary to end the game.
2. Peeling - This method involves a ranged unit (Archer, Gargoyle or Laserbot), in this situation the massive slow which the Sandstorm provides peels for your ranged unit by slowing approaching enemy units, allowing your ranged unit to safely damage the enemy unit which forces them to summon another unit or use a spell to get rid of your ranged unit, which usually ends up in a positive mana trade.
Poking - This strategy also involves a ranged unit. If the opponent plays a unit in a nearby lane, you can take them down/weaken them alot by using the sandstorm spell when they're in range of your ranged unit, allowing your unit in that lane to win the trade.
Extending Lifespan - This is by far my most favorite use of the Sandstorm spell. This strategy involves a unit with a unique passive/ability such as the Wizard. Due to the fact the ability automatically activates every few seconds, you're able to use the ability more often by slowing down your own unit. Note: This also works for ranged units, but it usually isn't worth unless there is a commander in that same lane.
Setting up combos - This is one is for the players that love to deal a lot of siege damage from units. Let's say you want to play a Behemoth with a Commander, and Life spell, but you only have 8 mana at the time. You can play the Behemoth, slow him down even more with a Sandstorm and then play the Commander with a Life spell.
