The End of an Era – "Millionaires" Leaves TVN

In late April, sensational news spread across the media: "Millionaires," one of Poland's most recognizable game shows, is disappearing from TVN's lineup. The station, which has broadcast the program – with interruptions – since 1999, decided to end its collaboration with the iconic format. However, a new player quickly emerged: Polsat, which will take over "Millionaires" and has already announced a premiere in autumn 2025. As Wirtualne Media reports, the program's producer will remain Jake Vision, meaning viewers can expect a continuation of the proven formula.

Who Will Host "Millionaires" on Polsat? Rumors and Official Stance

Along with news of Polsat acquiring the game show, media immediately speculated about the host. Will Hubert Urbański decide to continue his "Millionaires" journey at the new station? Potential successors mentioned included Tomasz Wolny, Filip Gurłacz, Krzysztof Ibisz, or Kinga Rusin. However, as Wirtualne Media states, Polsat does not plan to change the host and is negotiating with Urbański. The presenter himself doesn’t hide his excitement about the upcoming changes, and according to industry media reports, he will no longer take on any new role at TVN.

Facing numerous rumors and conjectures, Hubert Urbański decided to address the public himself and clear up any doubts. In an emotional post on Instagram.

After 26 years, I bid farewell to @tvn.pl – the station where I experienced my best professional moments.

The people I met there, with whom I worked, all without exception from the first days blessed me with trust, understanding, patience, but above all with heart and kindness – it was an honor and pleasure to work with you.

Thank you to all viewers, well-wishers, fans – without you, all this would have no meaning – thank you for being there.
