How to Connect to your Institution (Access Paywalled Papers)
By connecting to your institution, you will gain access to all the journals and articles that your institution is subscribed to. If you are looking for the Read Mobile App version of this FAQ article, click here.
There are two accounts that you use for Read by QxMD:
QxMD Account - used to login to Read by QxMD
Library Account - used to access your library’s online resources
How to Connect to your Institution on Read Web
Click the top-right where your initials are and select Change My Institution.
Select your institution. In this example we will use "University of British Columbia" and click Save.
Go to an article that you'd like to read and select Full Text PDF.
Each institution has their own login page. For the University of British Columbia the page is called CWL, and we'll have to click an additional Login button to get to the login page.
Enter your library credentials for your institution, which will take you to the full-text for the article you are trying to access. Congratulations, you're all set!
