Puzzles & Chaos: Frozen Castle

I downloaded this app because the ads looked interesting and promised something new. They even spoke about how ads can be misleading, which I totally agreed with. But when I actually tried the game, it was nothing like what was advertised! It turned out to be one of those civilization-building games where you have to pay to advance past a certain point. It's just not worth it.

This game is really fun! It's all about matching three items and managing resources and time. You can upgrade characters and buildings as you play, which gives it a cool RPG vibe. The gameplay is smooth and the opponents are challenging but fair, so you don't have to grind too much to progress. It does take some time and multitasking to keep everything in top shape, but it's worth it because the game is enjoyable. Upgrading buildings or attacking forces, and gathering resources can slow things down a bit, but overall, it's a great experience.

The game doesn't have what the ads show, it's just another game where you build castles and fight others. You need to upgrade high level heroes before you can upgrade low level ones. Some items can only be acquired by purchasing them. The English translation is not good, so the instructions can be confusing. The home screen is crowded with lots of things that they want you to buy.

Oh, I love this game! It's so much fun, but I have a few ideas to make it even better. One thing that would really improve the game is if we could upgrade whatever we want, whenever we want. Currently, we have to upgrade two or three specific buildings before we can upgrade what we really want. I think changing this system would make a huge difference and enhance the overall experience.

In battles, the game gets challenging but not so much otherwise. They encourage you to buy packs and upgrades to level up faster. If you don't want to spend money, you rely on speed ups bought with resources, sapphires, or gifts. The server disconnects a lot, which can be frustrating during leveling up or rallies.

This game is like a cheap knockoff of other games, but it's even worse because of its user interface. It keeps interrupting you with pointless animations and doesn't let you do anything. You can only tolerate playing it for rewards from Tapjoy, but don't waste your time on it otherwise.

This game isn't like the typical match 3 games where you just match tiles to clear them. Instead, it's more about building up your citadel and occasionally playing some match 3 mini games. The never-ending conversations in the game are really tiring. Having to go through a tutorial that you can't skip is so annoying. But what's even worse is all those constant pop-ups asking you to buy stuff before you can even continue playing. That's why I got rid of it from my device.
