What is Plurk?

It's an amazing website that lets you record and save every moment of your life through Plurk messages, and follow the lives and events of people you're interested in.

How do you use Plurk?

It's very simple. First, register a Plurk account.

You can then enter new Plurk messages to share what you're doing, what you're feeling, or what's on your mind. These messages will appear on your timeline.

Be sure to invite all your friends to join Plurk so you can connect, communicate, and stay connected.

What does "Timeline" mean?

Your Timeline is the main interface for Plurk and where you spend most of your time.

It provides a simple, clear view of everyone's recent activity, organized chronologically. It allows you to easily browse the daily posts you and your friends have shared, and keep track of what your friends are up to.

How do I build my social circle?

If you have real-life friends using Plurk, add them as friends first!

How can I find topics I'm interested in?

You can use keywords on the search page to find people and things you're interested in. We also recommend adding relevant tags to your About Me or Plurk posts to help like-minded people find you.

What is Karma?

Karma is a measure of engagement in Plurk. Higher Karma unlocks more services, such as extra emojis and different bio options in the top right corner of your timeline. Regularly posting and interacting with others will increase your Karma, and different emojis will be available at different Karma levels!

What causes my Karma to change?

Posting or sharing high-quality Plurk posts, having Plurk friends respond to and discuss your posts, and updating your profile appropriately all increase your Karma. However, if you don't post frequently, don't visit Plurk often, post spam messages, or have friend invites rejected, your Karma score may drop.

In other words, by maintaining good Plurk posts and social connections, your Karma score will gradually increase!
