[Pixelwoods healing journal record]
I opened this coloring game while curled up on the sofa late at night. I just wanted to kill ten minutes, but when I came to my senses, the clock had skipped two in the morning. The pixelated old house at the beginning of the game has the texture of a faded photo album. The moment the heroine Ellie pushed open the creaking wooden door, the pinewood fragrance of childhood memories seemed to penetrate the screen - this is not a coloring app, it is clearly a decompression time machine hidden in the phone.
■ A wonderful balance between coloring and decoration
• Digital coloring: The sunflower field for beginners is so simple that it is almost meditative, but when you advance to the attic colored windows, the gradient color blocks need to be adjusted repeatedly, which unexpectedly cured my color blindness and difficulty in choosing
• Old house renovation: From moldy wallpaper to retro floors, every renovation is like playing a three-dimensional puzzle. One time, I accidentally mixed and matched a bohemian kitchen, which was rated as a "cyber Bauhaus pioneer" by the system
• Prop collection: The design of new paint cans unlocked by pruning the garden made this hamster party crazy hoarding gardening tools, but the succulents in reality were forgotten
■ Two-way traction between plot and puzzles
As the chapters progress, fragments of my parents' research notes gradually emerge in the coloring book. The moment a star map in the basement is filled in, a hidden attic map is suddenly spliced out. This "labor for clues" mechanism is addictive. However, I was stuck on the kitchen water pipe puzzle for three days, so I had to go to the forum to learn from it. I found that players all over the world were complaining, "Were all plumbers in 1930 PhDs in topology?"
■ Warm details of character interaction
• Every time the squirrel NPC asks for pine cones, its pixel-level shaking tail is more real than my cat's
• Ghost tenants passing by during the renovation will leave a note saying "the wall color is too cold", and AI aesthetics beats a certain home APP
• Old photos of parents hidden in the album can be rotated 360° for viewing after coloring and restoring, and the historical immersion is maximized
■ Mild frustration and surprise
• The wrong color block cannot be withdrawn due to hand shaking, and the rose window is changed into an abstract painting
• The "retro phonograph" furniture given for signing in for seven consecutive days, the music box melody played hides the new paint formula
• The AR mode added after the update makes the decoration results vivid on the real desk, but it's a pity that my cat always misses
After three weeks, my phone album has a new category called "Decoration Inspirations". I've even started to learn how to match curtains in my rental apartment. Although I'm not even halfway through the main storyline, every rainy night I open Pixelwoods and color the virtual fireplace, which has become a more effective sleep ritual than melatonin. (I'm going to copy the game's color scheme for my next PPT presentation)
