ORBIT combines a gravity simulator with puzzle mechanics, challenging players to launch planets by flicking their fingers and stabilize them in orbits around black holes. The core objective is to create enough valid orbits to progress to the next level, blending strategic thinking with physics-based precision.
Basic Mode
Orbital Challenges: Navigate through levels where you must master gravitational forces to secure planets in stable paths around black holes. Each stage introduces new mechanics, such as repulsive black holes or planets with mutual gravitational pulls, enhancing the complexity.
Artistic Visuals: As planets move, they leave colorful trails, forming intricate, art-like patterns upon completing a level. A trajectory preview feature lets you plan launches strategically before flicking, ensuring optimal orbital placement.
Premium Sandbox Mode
Unlocked via a premium upgrade, the Sandbox mode empowers players to design custom levels:
Creative Tools: Manipulate time, disable collisions, and experiment with gravitational parameters to craft unique scenarios.
Community Sharing: Publish your creations to a global community, allowing others to play and rate your levels. This feature fosters creativity and extends the game’s replayability through user-generated content.
ORBIT offers a blend of relaxing aesthetics—including smooth, minimalist graphics and calming classical piano music—and intellectually stimulating gameplay, appealing to both puzzle enthusiasts and physics lovers.

I would only call this a "game" in a lose sense, and I mean that as a positive. It's more like playing around with tinker toys or play dough; relaxing, but not mindless, fun. As others have mentioned, levels dont end when you "beat" them; you can continue playing as long as you like. The music is perfect, and the ads are almost non existent. If you are looking for a challenge, this probably isn't my first recommendation. But if you are looking for low-stress fun, give it a download.
I didn't think I would like the app, honestly, when I first got it. I thought it was like those other app games that look nice for a while but in 2 days delete off your phone. This is NOT that. It's really fun to play and beat the levels. After every level I appreciate the idea that you can just play with the planets and gravity all by yourself. Overall, I just love the game.
This game is a very good time killer and watching the planets orbit was very entertaining. A minor gripe I have with it is that the white background is a little hard on my eyes and I would love a dark mode. And there seems to be a bug where doing an achievement lets you skip the level. The developer is a very nice individual who made a very fun game and I suggest you download it.
I don't think I've ever rated a 5 star before... it's the perfect mix between not too easy and not too difficult. It's also really relaxing and entrancing which I never thought would be something that keeps me coming back. Almost hypnotic. I find myself launching a lot of extra planets after I've completed the mission just to see how many survive and how interesting and complicated I can make the orbit patterns. Seriously earned my only 5 star review.
This is honestly a wonderous game. The simple elegance the soundtrack gives to the gameplay is phenomenal, let alone the gameplay itself! Please, note, I have not bought the game, as, well, I'm kinda short on funds, you could say. Even without a single purchase, however, this game is beautiful, simple, and fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone. Let alone, its unique how the designer talks to you during the game. It added a hint of personalization in the game that was to die for.
