No, the ONT model for the 2.5Gbps plan is different from the one used for the 1Gbps plan. The 2.5Gbps plan includes the Huawei HG8240N ONT.

I am an existing customer on 1Gbps recontracting to 2.5Gbps. Do I need a new ONT?

Yes, upgrading to a new ONT and router is essential to enjoy speeds up to 2.5Gbps. Our team will contact you to schedule an ONT installation appointment after the recontract process is complete.

    The app takes forever to load when opening. Updated on December 10. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Laggy performance continues. Wondering why the app is getting worse. As of April 16, it still takes ages to even reach the main page. So many issues pop up after updates. On June 16, the app remains just as frustrating as ever.

    This move by M1 feels terrible. I liked the old system. I could settle my bills using my PC, much easier than typing on a smartphone. Then they switched me to a "bespoke" plan. My roaming data passport changed from a one-month fixed plan to a monthly recurring one. It seems like they're trying to charge me more. When I looked for options to cancel the data passport in the new app, nothing was there. If this doesn't get resolved, I'm switching to another telco.

    This app causes so many frustrations. I have to check my phone bill here when I'd much rather do it on my PC. The experience keeps getting worse. It won’t remember my login credentials, and each time, I face the hassle of a one-time password. Sometimes that OTP doesn’t even arrive. Someone should seriously look into testing this app for usability. A simple return to a basic PC web interface would be a game changer.

    This app is frustrating. It either takes ages to open or just shows a blank white page. Suggestions like reinstalling or clearing the cache don't help. I’ve tried all that already. The old version worked perfectly fine. The bill view is overly simplified, making it almost useless. I want to pay my bills, but most of the time, the app won’t even open. Why make changes if they only make things worse?

    This app drives me crazy! It hangs constantly and takes forever to load with every tap. It feels like I’m back on a dial-up modem from the past. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it three times. No change. I even tried it on another Android device, but the same annoying lag persists! The worst part? The M1 website won’t let me make any changes to my plan either. It makes no sense to use this app when it keeps freezing up. I can’t wrap my head around why I pay monthly for a product that doesn’t work as it should and doesn’t let me do anything I need.
