This service will allow an Airtel customer to avail all kinds of services at their preferred location and convenient time. 5. Basic Requirements and Guideline

SIM Replacement/Swap

- Customer’s finger print and NID need to match for SIM replacement.

- Customer needs to keep NID number/NID Copy for replacement.

- SIM replacement is FREE for Robi Elite Customers.

New connection

- As per BTRC regulation, one customer can register ONLY one SIM at a time.

- National ID card number and fingerprint is a mandatory requirement during SIM delivery.

MNP

- Mobile Number Portability (MNP) is a service by which you can switch from current mobile operator to airtel Network by keeping the mobile number same.

- Customer’s Finger print and NID number (which was used to buy the SIM) is mandatory for MNP service

- Customer should not have any due (postpaid), emergency balance or any other contractual obligation to avail this service

Ownership Transfer

- The previous owner and the new owner both need to be present together during ownership transfer.

- Both sender and receivers finger prints need to match with election commission data base. Otherwise, the SIM transfer would not become successful.
