MediCode is a well-structured, refined, and user-friendly app tailored for healthcare professionals that guides you through various algorithms and practice tests—ACLS, BLS, PALS, NR, and CPR and First Aid. MediCode also includes ebooks, featuring the latest section on ECG rhythms and interpretations from our ACLS handbook, to bolster your expertise in emergency scenarios.
Are you weary of always having to carry a set of expandable CPR cards for various algorithms? Searching through them to locate the correct one can consume precious time during critical health emergencies such as cardiac arrest or pediatric urgent care. MediCode offers you quick access to all the algorithms from the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) right at your fingertips, along with multiple-choice practice tests to evaluate your abilities.

Comments
I recently purchased their book thinking it was by AHA because of their similar front cover design until I got a good look and realized it was by NHCPS. Now with that said, just like the book, this app had similar errors, which are minor, but if you’re new to taking ACLS, you might not catch the mistake. I’m keeping both for now because I like the simplicity of both. It makes reviewing easy. I do wish there was more practice tests.
In the Mega codes, I’ll answer the first question by clicking the answer and then try to press continue and it won’t do anything. I’ve tried waiting after I press and it still doesn’t work. It’s happened in multiple mega codes and I’ve tried exiting the app and coming back in.
This app is a very useful tool for people who are willing to help others during medical emergencies. Also great tools to keep the skills up to date. Thanks.
It is incredulous to me that a reference app for in-the-moment resuscitation guidance of clinicians would lack dosages of all of the ACLS and PALS drugs. There is so much white space in the algorithms and it could be added with updated information for free. Also. The default when the app is opened should be the algorithm, NOT a practice test. Seconds count.
Good info and practice, I’d like to see more though. Also the MegaCodes are extremely glitchy which doesn’t help with the time constraint to the point of not being able to practice. If I could practice and this gets fixed, I’ll increase my rating.
I’ve used this app in years prior, and liked it, but they have not yet updated into the 2020 AHA guidelines yet. I would not recommend it because you’ll be using outdated and incorrect information.
