FAQ
Q: How are points counted in the rankings?
- The score assigned at the end of a game depends on the type of game. In games such as Scala 40, Rummy, and Machiavelli, the score for a win ranges from 150 to 180 points, while a loss results in a loss of 50 points and a withdrawal from the game in progress results in a loss of 200 points. In other games, such as Pinnacola and Burraco, the score is assigned based on the points earned by the player at the end of the game. The score in the ranking determines the player's position, similar to football leagues, for example. New rankings are introduced every year and every month, as well as some specific ones for certain periods of the year, such as Christmas, Easter, May Day, August 15th, and Halloween.
- For more details on scoring, please consult the Help -> Rules section directly from the game. A detailed article on how the leaderboards work and how to determine a player's position is also available on our blog: https://onmadesoft.blogspot.com/2018/04/introduzione-e-chiarimenti-sulle.html
Q: How do I change my player name?
- If you use iOS or macOS: The player name is defined in Apple Game Center and is used to identify the player in leaderboards and online matches. You can change your name by accessing your device's Settings app, selecting Game Center, and then changing your nickname. Configuring your Game Center is described in detail on this Apple support page: https://support.apple.com/it-it/HT210401
- If you use Android: The player name is defined in an app provided by Google. Here are Google's instructions on how to change your player name: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2954594?hl=en
