Gaming Guide

LGBT Flags Merge! is a puzzle video game where the goal is to create all the LGBTQIA+ flags using merge mechanics. The premise of the game is perhaps somewhat reductionist and binary, and leaves out identities that aren't based on "putting boys with boys and girls with girls", but it can be entertaining and also allows you to discover flags you might not have been aware of.

The gameplay in LGBT Flags Merge! is as follows: when you start playing, you'll see a flag with the male sign and another with the female sign on the side of the screen. Merging two male signs will give you the gay flag, merging two female signs will give you the lesbian flag, and merging a female sign with a male sign will give you the bisexual flag. This leaves out non-binary identities, for example, as well as asexual or trans identities, while other major or well-known terms and identities have been made visible.

Gaming Tips

If you keep merging, for example, the lesbian flag with the male flag, you'll get the butch flag; if you merge the gay flag with the female flag, you'll get the twink flag, and so on. The idea is a kind of trial-and-error approach to discover where merging certain flags takes you. An interesting part of LGBT Flags Merge! is that, every time you discover a new flag, it comes with a description of the identity it represents, which is quite useful when teaching about minority identities or those with little visibility.

LGBT Flags Merge! is a fun game that, despite some questionable parts, does seem to have its "heart in the right place" and playfully introduces players to a range of different identities and flags they might not have previously known.

Oh wow, that's great to hear! I'm so glad it's been such a helpful and enriching experience for you. It's amazing how exploring different orientations can lead to greater self-discovery. Keep up the curiosity and learning!

This game is fun, but there are some issues with the flag combinations and information provided. I've tried merging Lesbian and Gay to get Gray Asexual, but it always gives me the Pansexual flag instead. I've only found 18 out of 70 flags so far. It would be great if the creators could update the Gay flag to the newer blue one, as the original one is more representative of the LGBTQIA+ community. Despite these issues, it's an enjoyable game to play when feeling bored! 🌈💕

This game is a great way to understand romantic and sexual attraction terms. One thing to mention - please change the lesbian flag in the game. The current design is based on the old version that has connections to transphobia. There's a new lesbian flag with five stripes instead of seven that is widely accepted now.

I played a great game! I learned many new flags. There were some ads, not too many. I would suggest it to people who want to learn more about pride flags. I checked other reviews and there is now a button to turn off the music. You can find it in the top left corner, press the music note until it looks dull.

Hey there! So, the app is pretty cool overall but there are some issues with how it's put together. Some of the signs seem fake and some of the descriptions could be seen as offensive. Plus, I'm having trouble locating the real signs. Even though I had some frustrations, I gave it 4 stars instead of 1 because it's been helpful for my fidgeting and boredom. It's also tricky to find certain flags. As a member of the LGBTQA+ community, I believe it would be great if you could include more genuine signs and remove the fake ones. I appreciate that you created this game but there are areas that could be improved upon that come across as offensive. Thank you for taking the time to read this message!

Oh, I believe this is wonderful! I truly want to rate it with five stars. However, there are sound effects that cannot be muted while playing music, which slightly bothers me. If this feature were added, I would definitely rate it a full 5 stars! This app has been so beneficial in increasing my knowledge about the LGBTQ+ community. As I am still uncertain about my own sexuality, I think this could really assist me on my journey of self-discovery.

Hey! Playing to pass the time is cool, but hey, there's a small issue with the "Abrosexual" flag. It's supposed to be green and pink, not whatever it currently is. Could you please switch that up? Also, some folks find the concept of Fictiosexual controversial. Overall, I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10 and recommend it, but if this stuff sets you off a bit, that's totally okay. Cheers!

Wow, I'm loving this game! It's exactly what I thought it would be, just a bit more ads. But you know what? They need to earn some money. I'm playing on my phone, and all you have to do is drag two things together and sometimes you get something new! There are some parts that were a bit confusing, like how aro plus ace doesn't equal aroace, or that man plus woman doesn't make hetero. However, the true combinations still make sense to me. One nice feature is that you can use hints if you're stuck. But personally, I feel like having a search bar would be helpful too.

I really enjoy playing a game where I collect different flags. There are 161 flags in total, and each one has a special meaning. Every hour, the game gives me three hints, which is helpful. It's not only fun to play, but also informative about the LGBTQ community. It can even help you learn more about your own sexuality. I do wonder what happens when you collect all the flags, but I find it entertaining to guess which flags combine to make others. At first, I mistakenly thought that a girl plus a boy would create a straight flag, not a bi flag. A silly mistake on my part! Overall, I love this game and give it a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. It's enjoyable and educational.

That game is really awesome! I loved exploring all the details and items after finishing it. It actually helped me understand more about myself. Plus, there are hardly any annoying ads in the game, which is nice. And figuring out the combinations is quite easy and clear.
