How do I create a LA NACION account?
To create an account, you must first access the site's login screen. Once on the login screen, you can create your account in four different ways:
Using your Gmail account: If you have a Google account, simply click the Sign in with Google button. If you are not logged in, we will ask for your username and password.
Using your Facebook account: If you have a Facebook account, simply click the Sign in with Facebook button. If you are not logged in, we will ask for your username and password.
Using your Apple account: If you have an Apple account, simply click the Sign in with Apple button. If you are not logged in, we will ask for your Apple ID and password.
If I use a Gmail account for my Facebook account, can I log in with Google?
No, this isn't possible since you indicated that this is your Facebook username and the password you use was also validated against your Facebook account.
If you also want to log in with Google, you can associate your Google account with your LA NACIÓN account, even if you use the same email address. You must select the option to associate your Google account. A window will open for you to enter your email address and password, and once validated, it will be linked.
What Google data will be visible on my LA NACION profile?
No Google data will be visible on your profile. No one will be able to access your Facebook data or your account. Once you associate a Google account with LA NACION, your username will be displayed as follows:
If you already had a username before associating your account with Google, it will continue to display the same username you had.
If this is your first time logging in, your first and last name will be used as a suggested username, with the option to change it before completing registration.
What are the benefits of creating a LA NACION account?
A free LA NACION account allows you to configure and receive headlines on topics of interest to your email inbox, follow topics or journalists, link your account to Facebook and Google, and comment on articles as a user.
