Kuwait Airways - An Overview
Kuwait Airways, with a history dating back to 1954, serves as Kuwait's national carrier, connecting Kuwait to key trade destinations around the world. It has been awarded a 5-star rating from the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) in 2019 for its exceptional customer service.
Ground Services
At Kuwait International Airport's Terminal 4, dedicated to Kuwait Airways, the check-in process is streamlined. Economy Class passengers have a generous checked luggage allowance (two 23-kg pieces), while Business and First Class passengers have two 32-kg pieces and a premium check-in area.
The airline provides meet & greet services through Maraheb agents. There are also various lounges: the Elite lounge for Royal and First-class passengers, the Bayan Lounge for First and Business Class passengers, the Mubarkiya Lounge with spacious seats, an international buffet, and a business office, and the Transit Lounge for connecting passengers.
In-Flight Services
Royal & First Class: Available on the B777 aircraft, Royal Class offers uncompromising luxury, privacy, a choice of global cuisines, and extensive in-flight entertainment options.
Business Class: Designed to rejuvenate passengers, it offers a selection of Kuwait-style meals, international in-flight entertainment, and lie-flat seats for comfort.
Economy Class: It provides customizable entertainment and food options, more space for comfort, and premium economy seats on the B777 with extra legroom.

Oasis Club Platinum Benefits
Platinum members of the Oasis Club enjoy several benefits. They earn 75% extra miles as an elite mileage bonus. They can carry an additional piece of luggage (32 kg) in First, Business, or Royal Class without extra charge (in Economy, only one of the extra luggage or overweight waiver benefits can be chosen). Platinum members can relax in the Elite Lounge at Kuwait International Airport T4 and can invite 2 guests. Their checked luggage has priority delivery, and they can check in at the First/Business class counter regardless of their class of travel. They also have preferential seating and can pre-board even if they are traveling in Economy. Date change penalties for redemption tickets are waived.
