Check if an operating system update is available for your mobile device and install it if necessary.

Close all active applications or restart your device.

What is Device Management?

If too many devices are using the digital subscription with the same login credentials, one device must first be removed before a new one can be added.

Our digital subscription can generally be used by three devices. The exception is a digital subscription subscribed to together with a print subscription – these subscriptions can be used by five devices.

If too many devices are accessing the subscription, a Device Management window will appear. There you can see the devices that have logged in with the same login credentials in the past. Please note that Device Management may also appear if you use your digital subscription with several different browsers, for example, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari.

To read Plus articles or the e-paper, one of the old devices must now be removed and the current device added.

The device can be removed using the trash can icon:

Kleine Zeitung

After clicking on the trash can, the deletion must be confirmed with the red check mark:

Kleine Zeitung

The subscriber will then receive a confirmation code to the email address provided, which must be entered:

Kleine Zeitung

Once you've entered the code, you can click "Remove device" and the new device will be automatically added. You can then continue reading by clicking "Close device management."

Since the last update, agreeing to cookies and watching ads became necessary or paying an additional 5 euros. It feels unfair! I already pay 10 euros a month for the Small Plus subscription! I decided to cancel it!

That newspaper only operates with an Austrian connection. I am in the UK and not employed.

It feels frustrating when something just doesn’t work as it should. You reach out for help, but support seems to overlook what you reported. That can leave you feeling stuck and unheard. It's tough when you rely on a system or service, and it feels like nobody's listening to your concerns.

The frequent crashes are frustrating. What's even more annoying is not being able to swipe to the next page. The button for that sits right above the home button on my phone.

The app is okay. You can read most of the newspaper's content. However, the e-paper download often fails or only works starting mid-morning. They've had a serious server problem for months. Because of this, I will cancel my e-paper subscription.

The app is great, but it keeps crashing when I try to open it.

The situation feels shaky. Downloading the entire newspaper at once is not an option.

Works perfectly on my Sony Xperia T. Super fast and no issues at all!
