✈️ MY OFFLINE VIDEOS
Are you out and about with your kids without access to Wi-Fi or enough mobile data to watch the new episodes of their favorite series? Our offline feature makes it possible! Simply save videos in your offline area beforehand. This way, kids can watch our children's programs anytime, anywhere on their smartphones or tablets with the KiKA-Player app – whether at home or on the go.
🙂 MY PROFILE - MY AREA
The younger child loves KiKANiNCHEN, Super Wings, and Shaun the Sheep, but the older sibling prefers educational formats and series for older kids like Checker Welt, logo!, PUR+, die WGs, or Die beste Klasse Deutschlands? Then you'll be pleased to know: Everyone can create their own profile, save their favorite videos in the Like section, watch partially viewed videos later in the Continue Watching section, or save them for offline use. Whether Heart Bear, Cyclops, Unicorn, or Rabbit – each child can choose their own avatar and customize the app to suit them.
📺 STREAMING VIDEOS TO THE TV
Find the tablet or phone too small? Prefer watching favorite series or movies together as a family or with friends? With Chromecast, you can stream the videos to the big screen. Additionally, the KiKA-Player is available as an HbbTV offering on Smart TVs. This way, you can bring children's programming directly to your living room.
ℹ️ INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
The family-friendly KiKA-Player app is secure and age-appropriate. Only children's films and kids' series that are truly suitable for children are displayed. Age-appropriate videos are also recommended based on the age rating in the profile. Parents can find additional features in the Parent Area to further customize the offerings for their children. It is possible to restrict video content throughout the app to preschool show and set available video time using the App Alarm. The public broadcasting children's program remains free, non-violent, and ad-free as usual.
