Account Cancellation Function Instructions

The Huya account cancellation function is now available! ~Starting today, you can cancel your Huya account. Please note: After officially cancelling, you will no longer be able to log in or use this Huya account.

Q1: Where do I cancel my account?

Mobile users, please update to the latest version (v7.0 and above), go to the [Account and Security] page in Settings, and then proceed with the account cancellation process.

Q2: How can I cancel my account?

A Huya account can be cancelled if it meets the following conditions:

1. The account is a Huya account or has been upgraded to a Huya account.

2. The account is in a secure state: Registered for at least 3 months, and within the last 3 months, there have been no sensitive operations such as changing passwords or account bindings, and there is no risk of theft or account suspension.

3. Account assets, rights, or other value-added services have been settled:

a) Your Huya coins, Y coins, gold beans, silver beans, and other virtual assets that cannot be withdrawn can be consumed before cancelling the account, or you can discard them directly;

b) Your VIP status and other membership rights must have expired, or you can discard them directly;

c) Other value-added services you purchased have been consumed, or you can discard them directly.

4. The streamer/guild relationship has been terminated, and all value-added services provided to viewers have been settled:

a) All withdrawable commissions and other economic benefits have been withdrawn;

b) The contractual status has been terminated;

c) The account is not managed by the brokerage company;

d) The guild relationship has been terminated (not within the membership validity period, transfer, or withdrawal period);

e) If you are a streamer, your fan badge/faith badge must have expired and you have no associated guardian or VIP users. All value-added services provided to viewers must have been settled.

Q3: After applying for account cancellation, can I still log in to my account?

After you submit your account cancellation application, your account will be officially cancelled 30 calendar days from the date of the application. During this period, you will not be able to log in normally. You can cancel your account application through the login prompts in the Huya APP. After cancelling the application, the account can be used normally again.

If you do not cancel the cancellation within 30 days of submitting your application, the account will be officially cancelled and cannot be used again.

Q4: What are the consequences after official cancellation?

Canceling your Huya account is an irreversible process. Upon official cancellation, any unused virtual currency, virtual items, or other value-added services (such as Huya coins, YY coins, gold beans, silver beans, gold bean coupons, prizes, gifts, VIP membership benefits, streamer companion services, and other value-added services) will be invalidated and deleted. All content you posted (such as videos, likes, comments, private messages, and updates) will also be deleted. Before proceeding, you should back up your Huya account information and data, and ensure that all account-related services have been properly handled.
