Opt for self-monitoring at no charge, or consider adding one of our protection plans that offer extra features such as Professional Monitoring, reimbursement for theft and damage, extended Cloud Storage, and Text & Voice Notifications. While the Kangaroo devices secure you, the Cam Protect and Complete Protect plans will compensate you if theft or damage happens. Indeed, we not only support you but also provide financial assistance when needed.

The subscriptions for Cam and Complete Protect automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the current billing cycle's conclusion.

Is my Kangaroo Indoor + Outdoor Camera waterproof?

The Kangaroo Indoor + Outdoor Camera has an Ingress Protection rating of 65. 

An IP65 rating means that your device is fully protected from dust and can resist low-pressure water jets from every direction. 

Please take note that being water-resistant does not mean that your device can be submerged in water.

How many plans do I need?

Cam Protect:

You can attach one Indoor + Outdoor Cam or other camera device you have (Doorbell Camera or Privacy Camera) to one Cam Protect Plan. If you'd like to add more cameras, you can either purchase another Cam Protect plan per device or upgrade to Complete Protect, which includes 3 slots for devices on the one plan.

Complete Protect:

You have up to 3 device slots with a Complete Protect plan, meaning you can add 3 devices to that plan.

What’s the difference between PPP and Cam Protect?

The main difference is that when paired with an Indoor + Outdoor Cam, you get to unlock a whole bunch of camera features that are not included with the device with a Basic plan. Some of those features are access to full length videos, Two-Way Audio, Person Detection, Zone Detection, and Sound Detection.

Do I need to get a plan?

You could use your Indoor + Outdoor Cam (or numerous devices) with a Basic Plan, which is free. However, by doing this, you will not be unlocking all of the features of the Indoor + Outdoor Cam and won't receive any theft or damage reimbursement (Cam Protect comes with $250 per camera and Complete Protect comes with $1000 per camera).

Some of those premium features are access to full length videos, Two-Way Audio, Person Detection, Zone Detection, and Sound Detection.
