According to legend, the ancients gods were the creators of all.

Strockanos, the Lord God and deity of the universe, shaped the Mekaa continent from chaos and the void. He infused this land with his own essence, beneath its rocky surface. The deities overseeing agriculture, fate, and death serve as protectors of Mekaa and form the foundation of arcane magic. Therefore, the essence of life in this realm consists of both God’s Blood and arcane magic.

Over time, humanity has risen to be the “masters of all” in Mekaa, evolving from the early Alrayans, through the nomadic Elruips, to the Normaasts who found themselves on the fringes of existence. Various civilizations have emerged among mountains, across plains, or in nomadic groups. Despite ongoing conflicts among different cultures and religions, the reverence for the ancient gods, particularly Strockanos, has persisted.

The emergence of a "new god," Indies, brought forth a fresh belief system and entered Mekaa into a new "era" affecting the entire continent and human society.

GAME FEATURES

- Accessible for New Players, Yet Deep for Veterans

Aiming to introduce more players to the enjoyment of deckbuilding strategy, we have refined traditional mechanics to create a smoother entry point for beginners. At the same time, seasoned players will discover gameplay that remains challenging and less restricted.

- Embark on a Roguelike Journey with 12 Distinct Characters

Indies’ Lies features an array of 12 playable figures divided into four classes: Wizards, Rangers, and Mechanists, with each character equipped with a unique collection of cards and talents. Every journey across the randomly generated maps provides a fresh experience as you select various cards, acquire different talents, and face unique challenges along the way. Uncover the possible strategies and find what works best for you!

- Enhance Gameplay with a Partner System

In Indies’ Lies, you lead a team comprising one hero and up to two partners. With over ten partners to choose from, each with their own unique strengths and cards, you can pair your hero's deck with an extensive range of partner cards to explore innovative tactics. Partners contribute more flexibility in strategic planning rather than just serving as support roles.

- Create Your Own Talent Tree

A unique talent tree is generated for every run, with talents customized to suit different classes and builds. There are more than 200 talents available, designed to cater to deck evolution during varying phases and build styles.

- Discover a Medieval Fantasy Realm

Enter Mekaa, a world embroiled in divine conflict. By gathering clues relevant to each character, you can unlock their respective story modes and engage in quests ranging from pursuing lost affection to battling the Seven Nightmares, or uncovering the truths behind Mekaa’s descent into chaos.

"Indies’ Lies: A Masterful Symphony of Strategy, Story, and Divine Intrigue in Deckbuilding’s New Era"

From the moment I delved into the shadowy, divinity-soaked realms of Indies’ Lies, I was ensnared by its audacious fusion of cerebral deckbuilding and mythic storytelling—a game that doesn’t just challenge your tactics but immerses you in a world where gods and mortals collide. The newly introduced Puppeteer class in the DLC is nothing short of a revelation: commanding ethereal followers like a cosmic conductor, I orchestrated battles with over 100 meticulously crafted cards, each decision weaving threads of fate as my trio of spectral companions—each of the 30 unique followers—unleashed abilities that felt less like mechanics and more like extensions of my will. The addition of 13 new monster types injects fresh peril into every procedurally generated run, their designs dripping with lore that ties seamlessly into the game’s grand tapestry of divine betrayal and mortal ambition. What truly mesmerized me, though, was how the Puppeteer’s narrative threads intertwine with the core adventure: unraveling follower-specific events and revised talents, I uncovered fragments of Mekaa’s fractured theology, where even a choice between upgrading a card or altering a partner’s skill resonated with the weight of shaping a pantheon.

The base game’s brilliance lies in its duality—accessible enough to welcome newcomers with intuitive synergies, yet so layered that veterans will lose hours theory-crafting across 12 wildly distinct characters. As a Mechanist tinkering with rune-infused automatons one run and a Ranger weaving arrow storms the next, no two journeys through Mekaa’s war-touched landscapes ever felt alike. The partner system is a stroke of genius: pairing my Puppeteer with a frost-mage ally whose spells complemented my puppet swarms created moments of strategic euphoria, turning battles into balletic displays of calculated chaos. And the talent tree? A labyrinthine puzzle where every unlock felt like deciphering divine code, each of the 200+ talents reshaping my deck into something unrecognizable—and unstoppable.

But Indies’ Lies isn’t just a game of cards and combos; it’s a narrative odyssey. The medieval-fantasy world of Mekaa, teetering between Strockanos’ ancient order and Indies’ heretical dawn, is rendered with prose so rich it borders on poetic. Unlocking character-specific stories—a Mechanist hunting lost love through clockwork ruins, a Wizard bargaining with death itself—transformed each run from a roguelike grind into an epic saga. The DLC’s integration of Puppeteer lore into this tapestry, where followers whisper secrets of the old gods and new, elevates the experience into something transcendent.

For those craving a deckbuilder that respects your intellect while igniting your imagination, Indies’ Lies is a divine revelation. With the Puppeteer expansion, it doesn’t just raise the bar—it rewrites the scripture. Download it, bend the will of gods, and let Mekaa’s chaos become your masterpiece.

Imagine diving into a roguelike game with a Final Fantasy vibe. You pick one of three heroes, then level them up to unlock even better starting cards. The game doesn’t push ads on you unless you want bonuses or discounts, making it feel more optional. Unlocking other heroes through DLC adds excitement, providing more gameplay options. Teaming up with other players brings in various strategies and grinding opportunities. The experience is thrilling. Perfect for anyone who loves roguelikes and card games!

I found this amazing game while just browsing through different options. It really blew me away. Picture a dungeon diving RPG that starts off simple, like Paper Mario. But it keeps getting more complex as you progress and grow stronger. It's a total blast. I can’t help but recommend it to everyone I know. Just give it five minutes of your time. You’ll end up lost in it for an hour without even noticing!

This game stands out in the card roguelike subgenre. Playing through it opened my eyes to how much better these games can be. The features add real depth to the strategy, making it engaging. It's accessible for newcomers too; no crazy difficulty spikes or endless grinding for level ups. I haven’t bought the extra DLC yet, but it’s reasonably priced. Once I finish the main content, I’ll definitely get it. This game deserves a spotlight in the store.

What a surprise hit! I have high hopes for this game to gain the fame it truly deserves. The PC release will definitely help, and streamers are bound to love it. The gameplay shines with an incredible array of useful and interesting cards. Players can create smart combos, face tons of events, battle diverse enemies, and choose from a variety of heroes. The art design is absolutely stunning too. It's refreshing to see the developers actively engaging with the community, taking feedback seriously and making changes accordingly. Monetization is fair as well, with the basic game available for free and two DLC packs priced at around 3€. My only minor concerns are some skill descriptions that lack clarity and the game feels a bit easy so far. Overall, a fantastic experience!

What an amazing game! I spent the whole day immersed in it. I noticed a few things that could be improved. The enemies feel a bit too similar, and I wish there were more unique cards to discover. The cards seem designed for building momentum rather than delivering explosive bursts of power. The game encourages careful play and slow, thoughtful moves, which adds to the fun. However, I felt let down by the bosses, especially the final one. They hit hard, but it didn’t create an intense experience like I hoped for. Overall, the game has so much potential, but a few adjustments could really elevate it.

I really enjoy it! The optional ads, fun minigames, and unique mechanics keep me engaged. Although, I do find myself with way too many cards sometimes! Some descriptions can be a bit tricky though. When it says "deal damage to ALL," it raises questions. Is that all enemies? All characters? Eventually, I learned it's all enemies, but it’s still a bit confusing. After taking a break for a few weeks, the thought of starting over feels daunting. This game is massive!

Finally, a fantastic mobile game! The Slay the Spire setup fits mobile devices beautifully. This one nails it perfectly. Fresh and original with plenty of new content to explore. The ad system strikes a great balance. It doesn't annoy you and offers useful rewards when you watch a few ads. Wishing for even more variety and exciting content in the future. Maybe some free updates for added variety?
