2.Progressing through the story
CollapseUpon reaching level 2
Lets start by tapping that story button and giving the dialogue a good read. (the story is quite interesting) We can tap the only option inside the Story menu to push the story forward and earn our first power. After this you will get your first power pick which are limited to Strength, Speed and Dexterity.
As you unlock powers (through achievements and challenges) you will add the powers to your Power Dex (bottom right Powers Menu). The Power Dex is the list of powers that are rolled for when picking a new power. Powers are picked by using the Get New option (bottom left Powers Menu). You also receive the fifth button in the bottom button car called Bonus where you can spend Gems. Go ahead and pop some points into your stats and we can move on.
CollapseUpon reaching level 10
You receive the second button in the bottom button bar called Equipment where you can buy gear. You can upgrade the shop to have one more item in stock every time they restock and request that they restock early. You can take this time to try and find a few good items for your character for now.
You will now start noticing achievements being complete. These achievements are ways for you to unlock new powers. You can increase the amount of power options you get upon receiving a new power later on. Your story log will soon have an alert symbol, notifying that you are at a point where it may need your input.
CollapseUpon reaching level 31
Open up your story log and give it another good read.. when you are finished go ahead and tap continue. You will then have more dialogue to read.. upon completing this tap the button and you will receive your second power. Continue pushing your stats and buying gear for very soon you will truly need it. Soon you will fight your first super villain.
CollapseUpon reaching level 51
You will receive yet another power. Note that you should have about 3 of them now. After picking a power we can go ahead and open up that Story log and give it another read. When complete tap continue..
CollapseUpon reaching level 70
You come across a super villain named Rezorb. No.. you're not doing anything wrong and the game is not bugging out.. this enemy is NO JOKE! I assure you that this guy will beat you into the ground all day if you let him. Note that your story log is alerting you again (if you dont a popup will warn you) so lets click into it and give it another read.
At this point you have unlock the fourth button in the bottom button bar called Time Travel. In here at the top it shows your current Time Energy as well as a place to purchase even more powerups. These are purchased using Time Energy which is received upon completing a Time Travel. Below this are your Powers followed by your Challenges. You can earn more powers by completing your challenges as well as gaining a multiplier for your Time Energy.
We don't have much of a choice but to try out that new fancy Time Travel button in the Time Travel menu. (Later on you will need to make sure your powers and challenge in this menu are set before Time Traveling.)
CollapseStarting over.. level 1
Well here we are again back at level 1. However we have much more powers to pick from this time so lets continue and hope for something good. You can also use this time to look over the Time Energy Upgrades and take another read into the story log.
CollapseUpon reaching level 21 (or 31 if you didnt notice at 21)
Your story log should be alerting you once more so lets open it up. Notice that your log looks a bit different than before. You now have two options this time. Continue the way you went (left) or a new option (right). Read the story over to understand what's going on before continuing. Since we took the left path last time lets take the right path this time and see what happens. After all we can Time Travel if we want to reattempt that monster Rezorb.
CollapseUpon completing level 51
Well we've been here before so you should know the drill.. Check that story log to continue on.
CollapseUpon reaching level 111
You may have noticed that Rezorb was gone this time. Well here he is again but take a look at his power compared to yours. Much more manageable now. Go ahead and take him down.
