About Hopp:
Hopp is the official green mobility app by Hopp Mobility, built for city travel that combines e-scooters, car sharing, and taxis in one place. The Hopp app is not just a scooter rental — it is an on-demand transport companion for commuting, errands, airport trips, and last-mile connections.
With the Hopp app, riders can locate the nearest e-scooter on the map, scan a QR code to unlock it, pause or end rides responsibly, and track trip costs in real time. In supported areas, the Hopp app also handles shared cars and taxi bookings — all from the same account.
Store-ready features:
E-scooter sharing — find, scan, unlock, ride, and park inside the Hopp app
Car sharing — reserve, unlock, and drive electric cars without keys or paperwork
Hopp Taxis — book Standard, Electric, Extra Large, or Premium fleets
Live map with nearby vehicles, operating zones, and HoppSpot parking
In-app payments via card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay
Ride history and receipts for scooters, cars, and taxis
Company accounts for team trips, monthly invoices, and member management
Multilingual onboarding with local safety rules
Carbon-neutral mobility with offset operations and electric service vehicles
Quick login with Apple ID, Google account, or phone number
How to Use the Hopp App:
The Hopp app runs on a simple mobility loop: log in → choose mode → locate vehicle → unlock → ride → pay and review.
Quick guide:
Install Hopp from Google Play.
Open the Hopp app and sign in with Apple, Google, or phone number.
Pick a mode — Scooters, Car sharing, or Taxis — from the home screen.
For scooters: find a nearby ride on the map or scan the QR code.
Unlock the scooter, start riding, and pause when needed.
For cars: upload and verify your driver’s license in the Hopp app.
Reserve a car, unlock it through the app, and park inside the operating zone.
For taxis: set pickup and destination, choose a fleet, and confirm fare.
Track the driver, message or call them, and watch arrival time.
End the ride in the Hopp app, then review receipts and ride history.
Tips:
Always check the operating zone before ending a car ride — leaving the zone can trigger large penalties.
Use HoppSpot parking when available; it can unlock ride discounts.
Enable only the location permission while using the app to keep tracking minimal.
