How is a player's performance predicted?

It’s not easy! We’ve created a very rich database using information from many sources. We analyze:

What is Expected Score?

If it were possible to play the same match several times, a player would score, on average, what we call the Expected Score. In other words, it’s the average number of points a player would earn under the same match conditions.

And what is Expected Value Change?

The expected value change before the round is the change in a player's market value if they score exactly their expected points. The value change during or after the round reflects the actual points the player earned up to that moment.
