Gears Logic Puzzles Tips, Tricks, and Cheats

#1 – Clear Your Canvas First:

Let yourself see the full picture without your movable gears in the way of your vision. Grab them all and move them out of the way so you can see exactly where you need to place the gears as shown in the photo below. This will allow you to think of this more as puzzle fitting instead of seeing the level of a smorgasbord of gears. This helps me think about what moves need to be done next and is something I always do on hard levels. If the level is easy, it may not be necessary to do but as the levels continue it will be something to look out for.

#2 – Understand the Game is Slightly Glitchy:

Gears Logic Puzzles is a slightly glitchy game, which, at times, can make you think a gear does not fit in a certain location but that is not always the case. There are times where I am thinking that the gear should fit in this certain location but I just can’t seem to get it to fit. If the gear cannot be placed in a certain location you will see the gear turn red. What you should do to know for sure if the gear can fit is to keep moving it around in that location and see if the gears go back at any time to their regular color. If at any time you see that red disappear you know that the gear can fit there you just have to massage it into place.

#3 – Play the game Offline if Ads Become Too Much:

Gears Logic Puzzles can be played offline, which is one of the beauties of this game. If you are driving across the country where there is no service or are on a plane heading to Hawaii (you wish) this game can still be played. This also goes for if you are just getting bogged down with how many ads they place just simply turn off your data or turn your device on airplane mode. Playing Gears Logic Puzzles offline will not affect your game besides the ability to watch ads for extra gears or for hints.

#4 – Try Not to Ask For More Gears If you Can Help It:

They give you the exact amount of gears needed to complete each level. Asking for more gears will take away a star which means you cannot get a perfect score. Every gear you take on is one less star you can get at the end of the level. If you are having an issue with a certain level and cannot pass it then go ahead and use an extra gear and just come back to it later and try again for a perfect 3 stars… We won’t judge. You can always go back and try to get 3 stars again even if you previously used an extra star on the same level.
