GameChanger - Track sports scores & stats

This app isn't very useful. It's hard to connect to any network, even when using strong, fast wifi with full bars. The latest update is even more problematic. I couldn't sign in at all. Do they check it before releasing? I'm using a Galaxy Note 10+. Avoid this app, it's terrible! Update: Finally, I could log in. It takes a while to get messages, but eventually, it works. The app is still awkward, and I'll happily delete it once I don't need to use it anymore.

Oh no, I've had this app on my phone for two whole years! It's been a staple in managing all the teams that I coach. The other day, I added two new teams and went to update some info on our team page. But guess what? The changes weren't showing up on my calendar. So, I thought, "Hey, maybe if I uninstall and reinstall the app, it might just magically fix itself." Only, I ran into a snag – I couldn't reinstall the app at all. And to add salt to the wound, now I can't access any of my teams within the app because it's telling me my device isn't compatible anymore. Man, I'm really feeling down about losing access to an app that's been my go-to for years without even a heads-up that there'd be compatibility issues.

Oh no, streaming is such a pain! I wanted to show live video, but the app kept shutting down unexpectedly. I get it that if the internet isn't strong, it might not stream well, but why can't it record on the device and upload later? I tested on multiple devices, and while playing the game, the app just closes out. Then I have to restart the whole streaming setup again each time. On the bright side, game streams work fine, that's why I gave it 2 stars.

So, I thought I had a plus subscription with Gamechanger. But when I tried to watch videos, it didn't work. So, I decided to pay for premium. Yet, when I opened the app, all games and clips were still locked. When I tapped to upgrade to premium, it said I already had premium. If that's the case, why couldn't I watch full videos or clips? **Update**: The problem has been fixed! I can now watch all the clips and highlights. Big thanks to Gamechanger for acting swiftly to resolve this issue.

I like how we can communicate with the team easily. The events page is awesome. It's really helpful to be able to click on the map and quickly find our way to away games. There are some improvements I think would make it even better, such as being able to edit my players' parents' email addresses or add another email address without having to create a new player from scratch.

So when someone sends me a message on my Samsung Galaxy S10+, I usually get a notification. But when I try to read or reply to the message in the app, the screen just keeps spinning and nothing shows up. This happens whether I'm connected to wifi or using the ATT network. If I restart my phone, I can use the messaging app normally for a bit, but then the same thing happens again multiple times a day.

That's a good idea. It can get chaotic if you miss a play or need to make a substitution and then errors happen on the next pitch. A few ways we could make it easier to use: have a feature where you can mark a spot to go back and fix a play later, streamline the process for player substitutions, if both teams are on GameChanger, why do I have to enter their lineup when they already have it? And be able to score the game like a traditional scorebook. Update: Starting out is not as simple as I thought. I almost gave up, but my league told me to stick with it. GameChanger reached out looking to improve based on feedback.

Team Manager was causing my phone to crash and freeze after the latest update. It became impossible to use. So, in order to keep up with our games, I had to switch to Game Changer and support the opposing team. The app works terribly on Android. But on October 27, 2020, I received good news - the problems I was facing got fixed by the developers. I upgraded my rating to 4 stars, and will bump it up to 5 as soon as they release the web browser version.

The app works pretty well on its own. But when I used it on my Samsung Tab tablet, I noticed that the links don't line up correctly in many places. So when you're trying to tap one button, you might end up tapping another by mistake very easily. This leads to having to correct errors and fix them, which can be challenging while keeping score during a live game. This problem doesn't occur on the iOS app, not even on the smaller screen of the iPhone. Also, it's worth mentioning that at times, it can take several days for recently finished games and stats to sync and display.
