Euchre Classic Card Game - Card game fun & strategy

I understand your frustration. You have a wealth of experience, over 60 years of playing Euchre. You’re looking for players who match your skill level. The current group isn’t meeting your expectations. You want to select players who can truly challenge you and enhance your game. I decided to lower my review for two big reasons. First, my partner just isn't cutting it. When I ask him to pick it up, and I call trump, he always leads with a trump card. It's so frustrating! Everyone knows you shouldn't do that unless you have all the trumps. It makes no sense, especially when he didn't even call it! I wish there was a feature to set preferences, like “don’t lead with trump if your partner already called it.” Second, it would be great to have different partners to choose from. Each with their own skills and strategies. That would definitely make things more interesting!

The game is fun and quick. Just like one review mentioned, there's no exit button. I gave it one star because the commercials are overwhelming. There are far too many ads between hands. I get that you need to make money, but this feels excessive. If ads played after the winner of a whole game instead, that would improve things a lot. Right now, I don't plan on loading it again.

It’s awesome how this game goes beyond the usual features. You can change the table top, switch up the card back, and pick different card styles. The best part? You can even change names! And applying the Canadian rule of going alone when you order up your partner is a fantastic touch. So much fun!

The app is flooded with ads. The AI plays terribly. They make poor decisions and frequently play the wrong cards. I recall one game where my opponent went alone, taking the first turn. They led with an ace, and I managed to beat it with a trump card. Then my partner overtrumped me with the left. It's frustrating. The AI opponents always seem to get outrageously good hands. One game ended in just four rounds because the AI opponents got back-to-back perfect loners. The ads wouldn't annoy me so much if the AI actually played well.

This game brings a lot of excitement. However, a couple of things seem off with the code. First, it appears that when my partner or opponent decides to order trump or go alone, they base their choice on the number of trump cards in hand instead of assessing the strength of those cards. That feels off. Second, when my partner goes alone and has the lead, he sometimes leads with an off-suit card. That's not ideal. A strong trump should take precedence to draw out the opponents’ trumps and set up his off-suit cards to be more effective.
