Introduction

Eon Music Player is a minimalist yet highly functional music player. Based on Material Design, it offers a clean and clutter - free interface. It stands out for its extensive customizability and a wide range of features that enhance the music - listening experience.

Home Screen:

The app allows you to tailor the home screen, which by default consists of sections such as Tracks, Albums, Artists, Playlists, Genre, and Folder view.

You can easily remove any section or rearrange their order according to your preference.

Easy Navigation & Quick Controls:

Eon Music Player provides straightforward navigation, quick access controls, and well-organized dropdown menus. You won’t have to navigate through complicated menus to locate anything, as everything is positioned where it should be. The interface is uncluttered with minimal hidden or complex menus, making it one of the most streamlined Material Design music players.

Folder View:

This player enables you to browse all your audio files through an organized list of folders containing those files. Upgrading to Eon Music Player Pro offers access to a Hierarchical folder view as well.

Themes:

Select from four preset themes (Light, Dark, Black, and Transparent) to personalize the Eon Music Player to your taste. The Pro version also includes additional themes and a built-in Theme Maker for creating custom themes.

Player Screen Themes:

You have the ability to customize the Player screen, with two skins available in the free version and three more with the Pro upgrade. In the free version, Eon Music Player provides two Player skins (themes) for the Player screen. Upgrading to Eon Music Player Pro unlocks three additional options. This allows users to further customize the look of the player while they enjoy their music.

Android™ Auto Support:

Eon Music Player lets you bring your music library on the go by connecting through Android™ Auto, allowing you to enjoy your music while traveling. Eon Music Player is compatible with Android™ Auto. This means that users can take their music library with them while traveling. By connecting through Android™ Auto, they can enjoy their favorite tunes in a convenient and hands - free way.

Permissions Explained:

Eon Music Player requires the following permissions:

To access audio files.

To save downloaded album artwork for future use.

For downloading album artwork.

To continue playing when the device enters sleep mode.

To set a clip as a ringtone.

To verify data connections prior to downloading album artwork.

Please note that:

• Eon Music Player does not enable music downloads, nor promotes illegal music acquisition.

• Eon Music Player does not support music streaming.

• Eon Music Player functions as a local music player and music library manager.

Understanding App Permissions

Reading Audio Files: Requires android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE to access audio files.

Saving Album Arts: android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE is needed to save downloaded album arts.

Downloading Album Arts: android.permission.INTERNET is necessary for downloading album arts.

Playing in Sleep Mode: android.permission.WAKE_LOCK allows the app to keep playing when the device is in sleep mode.

Setting Ring Tones: android.permission.WRITE_SETTINGS is used to set a clip as a ring tone.

Checking Data Connection: android.permission.ACCESS_WIFI_STATE and android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE are used to check for a data connection before downloading album arts.
