EBS Play is a mobile app that offers access to the diverse range of educational and informative content available through South Korea's public television and radio network, EBS.  The app also offers a personalized experience by giving you recommendations based on your interests.

With this, you can watch real-time broadcasts, keeping you updated with the latest news. You can also browse its selection of video-on-demand content that offers programs of various genres. The app offers a Category Search function, making it easy for you to search by genre.

Furthermore, the app provides a Kids Mode to ensure that children are only viewing programs appropriate for their age.

- We have redesigned the home screen UI/UX for your convenience in using the subscription service.

- Enjoy free streaming of real-time on-air services for 6 channels including EBS1TV.

- Quickly search for desired programs through the integrated search service when you have a specific video in mind.

- Switch to mini-view mode during video playback to navigate to other menus while watching.

- Based on user preferences, we offer a list of recommended videos to watch together.

- Save your favorite programs and VOD. You can easily check your saved list in the MY menu.

- Service usage may be challenging based on the user's network status.

- Data charges may apply when using 3G/LTE.

- Some content may not be available in the app due to copyright requests from rights holders.

- Due to content provider circumstances, some content may not be available in HD or UHD resolution.

* Required Permissions

Android 12 and below

- Storage: Necessary permission for downloading EBS VOD videos and related materials, searching EBS videos, registering Q&A questions, and attaching saved images when posting.

Android 13 and above

- Notifications: Permission required to receive service notifications, scheduling alerts, new VOD upload notifications for My Programs, event information like promotions, discounts, etc., through device notifications.

- Media (Music and Audio, Photos and Videos): Permission needed for VOD playback, video searches, registering Q&A questions, and attaching images when posting.

- Phone: Necessary permission to check app running status for push notifications.
