Question 4:

What do "Watching," "Will Watch," and "Stop Watching" mean?

Answer:

This status determines whether new episodes are displayed in "My Series" and "Coming Soon."

Question 5:

Will there be RSS feeds for "My Series" and "Coming Soon"?

Answer:

There are two RSS feeds for registered users: released episodes and new files. A "proper" browser will show the links automatically. Chrome doesn't :)

Question 6:

Why is the "My Series" section empty?

Answer:

It displays episodes you have yet to watch from the "Watching" list.

Question 7:

Why do you sometimes have inaccuracies in the number of episodes and release dates?

Answer:

We previously took data directly from tvrage.com automatically, so we have what they had.

If there are errors in older series that no longer have a data source (the source is displayed by clicking "Found an error? Report it" above the error messages), you can submit a request for moderation on our side and make the edits yourself. Details on moderation are in this group post.

If a series is still active and has a source (tvmaze.com), edits can be made directly on tvmaze, and the corrections will be sent to us during the next sync. Alternatively, use the "Found an error? Report it" form on the series page with the errors if the corrections on tvmaze don't work.

Question 8:

My favorite series isn't there, what should I do?

Answer:

You can add it yourself on tvmaze.com, and it will be transferred to us.

Instructions for adding series through tvmaze are available here.

Or, request the addition of a series through our Support Center, powered by User-echo. A link to create a request also appears in search results in our iOS and Android apps if the series you need isn't available.

If your favorite series exists but isn't updated, and you'd be willing to update it directly with us, you can request that it be submitted to moderation on our end. Details about moderation are in this group post.

If your favorite series exists but lacks information, please contact us using the "Found a mistake? Let us know" form on the series page that appears on our site to add the Russian title, description, and ratings. You can also duplicate your request in the corresponding thread in the VKontakte group.

Question 9:

You don't have my favorite Russian series in your database. What should I do?

Answer:

See question number 8 about favorite series.

Question 10:

Why aren't you replying to my emails or other means of communication?

Answer:

We try to reply to everyone, but there are too many of you. We read and discuss everything you write. You can submit a request through the User-echo Support Center or write to the appropriate thread or message in the VKontakte group. Please try to choose a good topic from the discussions and fully describe the situation if you're writing in messages ;)

However, it's best not to send private messages to the administrators; they'll write to you themselves if needed.

Question 11:

Why can't I find friends through OpenID and other communication methods?

Answer:

Currently, you can find friends from VKontakte if you linked yours when editing your profile. We're planning to add other features.

Question 12:

Why do you need my email?

Answer:

It's used for password recovery, notifications about new changes, and newsletters, from which you can unsubscribe.

Question 13:

What about the "Trending" award? Which 10 series exactly are eligible for it?

Answer:

As the award description says, "Watches the Top 10 active series from the MyShows rating." So, these are the top ten ACTIVE series ('New Series', 'Returning Series', 'In Development', 'Final Season') from the overall rating.

Question 14:

I've marked all the episodes, and the series is "Closed," but it doesn't appear in the "Fully Watched" section! What should I do?

Answer:

Most likely, this series doesn't have a release date. There's a special setting in profile editing for this: "Consider episodes without release dates as released," which should help. It's disabled by default. So, go ahead and enable it; the series will appear in the "Fully Watched" section.
