General Tips & Things to Avoid:

Here's some general advice and tips that might help you avoid making the same mistakes.

Fuse Gabrielle as soon as you can: Discboom dragging you all around the main screen for 700 tutorials can really leave you wanting to turn the game off but don't ignore the fusion tutorial. It's a significant investment of resources and will definitely require you to micromanage your stamina for a few days if you're F2P but the reward far outweighs the effort. Gabrielle is a free legendary support character that absolutely carries through most content. She can buff your team, debuff the enemy team, prevent your team from being debuffed and counter enemy controllers all in one Esper. She also has a great captain skill that grants your team an additional 30% HP so she's not one to miss out on.

Spend time in the chat to farm Ye Suhua and Dhalia ripples: The chats are an absolute drag and rarely moderated well enough to prevent the severe brain rot you will receive from watching people argue over absolutely nothing but you still need to get in there as often as you can to enter ripple dimensions. You'll need to farm multiple pieces per ripple dimension to amass enough to spin for these Espers but it's absolutely worth it. Dhalia is a great AP booster, giving your team more chances to attack while also boosting your ATK and Crit & inflicting debuffs like Freeze on your enemies. Equally, Ye Suhua is also a fantastic support Esper with her ATK & DEF up buffs on her 3rd skill and the Invincibility and Recovery buffs on her second skill.

Don't conform to other people's way of playing: I'm somebody who enjoys building what I have instead of taking a chance on what I don't and I'll usually spend Gold Records as soon as I receive them just to get the disappointment over quickly. I've had some great luck in the Echo and I've also had streaks of abysmal luck where I've gone to hard pity for a duplicate legendary and the road to get there was filled with dupes too. If you're somebody who enjoys instant gratification or you just want to focus your energy on the Espers you've already pulled, there aren't any set benefits to hording Gold Records for anything other than banners. These spotlight Espers are placed with an increased chance of pulling for a limited time before they join the general pool at the end of their respective events. You can earn extra GR's by pulling a certain number of times during these events which is always a draw towards saving. It's worth bearing these things in mind before you start spinning the Echo but it's not essential if you're not bothered about spotlight Espers or specific pulls.

Spend your gems how you want to, but stamina will always be something you're lacking: I don't spend my gems on gold records because I think the conversion rate kind of sucks. 200 Gems for one record will usually result in disappointment. While there are a variety of ways to earn stamina, it's always helpful to grab a few refills in a pinch when you're on a roll and want to keep pushing. It's entirely your own choice but keeping a small reserve of gems exclusively for stamina on days that you're wanting to play a little more is always a reasonable shout.

Don't bang your head against a wall: If you're pushing story mode and the level you're on is giving you some grief, step away and do something else. I tended to push story until I got stuck and then I'd switch to the Ritual or Infinite Miracle and vice versa. You can always benefit from upgrading your relics and increasing your Ascension but if you're really just stuck, taking a bit of time to progress in other areas or do practice stages can sometimes be the boost you need.

PVP is the same as always: There will always be a bigger kid in the playground. You're undoubtedly going to come up against some seriously stacked teams in PVP regardless of how hard you think you are with your shiny new legendary. I've been smacked stupid by teams made up exclusively of legendaries which felt like a P2W situation but I've also been absolutely wiped by a team of exclusively rare espers that were built well. Sometimes you're out-skilled, sometimes you're under-levelled and sometimes people have a fully upgraded Hyde/Tiye/Clara combination who shit on your team despite your seemingly high speed and you have to take a break to treat your headache. It's not the end of the world to lose sometimes, don't take it personally and keep trying to improve your composition and team synergy.

Don't sleep on the Cube: It seems like a time wasting throw-away mode but it offers great rewards for little effort and refreshes every 2 days. You can farm the currency from it and grab some neat rewards from the activity shop that refreshes a little too slowly for my liking but is still good. Cube 7+ is an absolute arse so get comfortable with 5 & 6 when you're able to and reap the rewards!

Expeditions are King: Add some high level friends from the world chat and borrow one of their high level Espers to carry you to the highest Kronos, Apep & Fafnir levels you can manage. You don't have to use these levels for your own farming, but it will influence the highest tier of Expedition you can access every day. Send your Espers off on their Expeditions each daily reset and you can reap the higher level relics without any headaches on your end. Neat!

Join a Club, ASAP!: Clubs are great because the rewards are so plentiful. The Club shop upgrades each time the club does though so make sure you're contributing as much as possible. You can earn club points by doing holobattles & fulfilling tasks (complete a bounty, log in, finish a battle using a helper esper etc.) and you'll usually earn gems for completing these tasks as well. Make sure you join an active club as soon as you have the chance and play nice with others.

The offer packs are crap. Don't bother: They're crap. That's all.

The era of Pandora’s box has dawned upon us. Are you willing to fight for the sake of humanity?

So, back in May 30th, 2022, they thought the game was cool but found it kinda tricky to level up Espers and get new ones. They were into the concept though and wanted to see more added to the game. Then, on April 11th, 2023, almost a year later, they're totally loving it! The graphics are amazing, events keep changing, and the updates have really improved the game. They gave it 5 stars for sure!

The game looks amazing, the animations and artwork are stunning. The gameplay is good and the story is interesting, which is rare in gacha games. My only issue is with the Esper list. It's difficult to find duplicates because there's no sorting option by unit name. Also, scrolling through the list is a bit buggy, it sometimes jumps to the wrong unit or won't let me scroll back properly. Hopefully, they'll fix it soon, it's just frustrating.

Visually and sound design are great. Characters and small communities in the game are well developed and endearing. However, the UI on my tablet is quite messy, making it difficult to navigate certain menus and press buttons, particularly in the "Squad Space" screen.

The rerolling in this game isn't as simple as in some other games, which I appreciate. The story mode is okay, but mostly it feels like just doing tasks rather than a clear main storyline. The visuals are impressive, although they can start to feel repetitive. It's a shame that you can't turn off the skill zoom-in animations.

The game thinks it understands you better than you do. It does things automatically that feel invasive. Every day when it resets, my team goes back to the characters from chapter one. My current team is much stronger now, but the game doesn't keep that layout. The 2D character designs are really cool and I wish there was a way to view them separately.

I really enjoy the game. The visuals are amazing, characters are well-developed and the combat is challenging. However, the energy system is frustrating and buying more energy is too expensive. This game would be perfect without it, but now I'm considering deleting it. It's not enjoyable to play for a short time and then wait hours for energy to refill. I'm not willing to spend so much money on refills every day.

I added an extra star because of the cool graphics and sound, but that doesn't change the fact that this game is just like all the others in its category. Like the rest, it has a stamina system that feels more like a money grab than anything else. Beyond the impressive visuals and sound, it's just another generic card game with unbalanced gameplay. Save your data - this one's a snooze fest.

Life's been good in general! Music is a big part of it and I think it could be even more intense with some tracks. The character design is amazing. Update on my review: I have all settings low but it still crashes. Can't access the sonic part to progress because it keeps freezing and crashing, which didn't happen before. Needs to be fixed quickly.

The game is amazing! The art, character designs, and music are all fantastic. The graphics and mechanics are top-notch. The only drawback is the lacking story - the main character isn't very likable, the dialogue is repetitive and flat, and the overall story feels rushed. Despite that, the mechanics and other aspects make it worth playing.
