CiberCuba is a news and content portal focused on Cuba and its people, with the primary goal of providing insights into the realities of the island.

We draw on a diverse range of media sources, aiming to create a mosaic that not only portrays the Cuban reality but also reflects the various perspectives available in the media. Our intention is to ensure that visitors to our portal recognize they will not encounter a single biased viewpoint. We thus honor the subjectivity of both our sources and the comments provided.

CiberCuba was established in Valencia in November 2014 by two Cuban exiles living in Spain: Luis Flores and Luis Manuel Mazorra.

The Sweet Havana Carnival 2025 transformed downtown Louisville, Kentucky, into a vibrant piece of Cuba over the past weekend. With a large attendance and an atmosphere filled with music, flavor, and joy, the event was labeled by many as "the best of the year" in the city.

The Queen of the Carnival, Roselyn Pérez, led the celebration accompanied by local artists such as +Flow and Cuban Soul Band, as well as prominent members of the Cuban community like the comedian Boncó Quiñongo, the singer José El Pillo, and the charismatic Michel Valdés from the Baila con Micho academy, who also served as the official marshal of the Carnival.

The event featured a special appearance by the mayor of Louisville, Craig Greenberg, who showed his support for this initiative aimed at strengthening the ties of the Latino community in the city.

For two days, hundreds of people gathered to experience a unique cultural event that featured live orchestras, dancers, and the best Cuban music. The atmosphere evoked the splendor of the island's traditional carnivals, in a space where nostalgia, joy, and pride in the Cuban heritage came together.

The Sweet Havana Carnival also featured traditional cuisine, workshops, artistic performances, and activities for the whole family, becoming a festive and inclusive gathering that celebrated the emerging talent and cultural roots of the Cuban community in Kentucky.

Organized by the Sweet Havana team, the event established itself as a vibrant platform for cultural expression and a benchmark of unity for the Latino community of the state.

Everything is working well, but there’s an audio issue with the video from the Civercuba torrent player. I tried to listen to something, but it didn’t work. When watching videos linked from Facebook, YouTube, and similar sites, the audio is perfect. Thank you for your time and effort. God bless!

It's quite nice to hear news about our country and our people. Some of the news might be negative or depressing. Yet, it still feels like home. Our wine may be sour, but it's ours. That connection brings a sense of belonging. Each story tells a part of us, adding layers to our identity. Embracing both the sweet and the bitter bonds us together as a community.

Stop the constant changes. Every update makes the app worse. Now, I can read just one news article and get old related stories. When I choose current events, I expect to see all the new news. Please, no more unnecessary changes.
