The app has sections for learning theory by reading and practicing by solving board positions, but they are kept separate. It's unclear how they are connected. In one puzzle, I am asked to "find the best continuance," a term that hasn't been defined. There is no link to the 'theory' section that could help with this exercise or even a glossary. When I make a wrong move, arrows and shapes in various colors appear, but their meaning is not explained. I find the teaching style confusing and not very helpful.

Rediscovering the game of chess after a long break since high school club. I'm finding the lessons really interesting after three months. Excited to improve my chess rating (ELO), although not sure how reliable it is, as it seems quite forgiving. Happy with the subscription and looking forward to the journey ahead. Cheers, good Knight!

That app for learning chess is top-notch. It's packed with lessons and a bunch of puzzles to help you hone your skills. The monthly subscription is definitely worth it. One thing they could work on is the overall design of the app and maybe make the theory easier to read by changing the font. A few tweaks would make this app perfect! 🙌

This app is fantastic! It offers a ton of tactics and strategy to help improve your chess skills. Pattern recognition is key when it comes to getting better at chess, in my experience. Having all these lessons easily accessible on your phone is super convenient. You can practice anywhere - whether you're waiting for a flight or stuck in a boring meeting. It's bound to elevate your chess game for sure!

I'm glad you enjoy the app and found it helpful in learning how to play chess. Winning 15 times is a great accomplishment, especially as a beginner. Keep practicing and you'll continue to improve over time.

It might seem strange at first, but the activities are like real games that make you think ahead. They help me see that the obvious choice may not always be the smartest for getting the upper hand in the end.

I am using the free version and I give it 5 stars! There are so many good exercises to do. I am still finding new things that I like about it. Recently, I purchased Chess King, which gives me full access for 90 days as far as I know. I am waiting until I have tried all the free parts before claiming the full option. I want to give credit to Chess King for being generous with their free version. The product Chess King is reasonably priced and I also recommend it.

There's this amazing chess app that lets you learn and play against the computer. The variety of courses is really impressive. No matter what level you are at, you can easily find a course to help you get better. The puzzles are great for practicing what you learn. You should definitely give it a try. I haven't upgraded to the paid version yet, but there's still plenty of free content to enjoy. The cost of upgrading is quite fair if you're interested.

The puzzles are really interesting and make you think. They show my chess skills as just okay. It encourages me to consider different moves, even the ones that are not so obvious but can give bigger benefits.
