As the Medieval era came to a close, firearms took over. The knights who had held prominence for more than a millennium started to fade from the forefront of history. The once-mighty empire's influence began to disintegrate...

In Castle Empire, players will assume the role of an alliance leader within the game and engage in battles against the remnants of the ancient empire alongside other participants!

Gameplay Overview

1. Getting Started

Create a character (choose name and avatar).

You begin on a small island which serves as your first settlement.

2. Building & Resource Management

Construction & Layout:

--First mission: build a Wood Cutter close to trees.

--Then build a Sawmill to process logs into usable lumber.

-Road System: Build roads to connect production sites and speed up transport.

-Forest Cycle: Trees can be depleted. Build a Forester to replant them.

-Resource Types: Basic, intermediate, advanced, expert, and military resources (wood, stone, iron, food, etc.) are stored in the Mayor’s House and Warehouse.

3. Expansion & Exploration

Use an Explorer to discover new areas.

--The first expansion is free; later zones must be cleared of Bandit camps before use.

--Each new sector requires a storehouse before it becomes productive.

4. Combat & Army

-Training Troops: Train soldiers (infantry, archers, etc.) in the barracks.

-Deploying Troops: Station units in a garrison, then send them to attack bandits.

-Battle Style: Battles are turn-based simulations (similar to Risk), resolved automatically.

Hero Units:

General – leads armies.

Explorer – finds treasure and land.

Geologist – searches for stone, coal, and ore deposits.

5. Economy & Trade

Build a Branch Office to unlock trading with other players.

--Use the Trade Channel to exchange goods (fish, bread, timber, iron, etc.) for gold coins or resources.

--Production chains allow you to upgrade raw resources into processed goods.

6. Buffs & Boosts

--Create Buffs at the Provision House to temporarily increase production speed.

--Buffs also extend the life of resource deposits such as fisheries or wheat fields.

7. Leveling & Progression

--Gain experience by completing quests and defeating bandits.

--Upgrade the Mayor’s House, Residences, Warehouses to increase storage and population limits.

--Daily rewards and missions help accelerate your growth.

8. Social & Future Features

--Join a Guild/Alliance to chat, trade, and share resources.

--Currently there is no PvP, but developers have mentioned possible future expansions.
