How do I return an item? 

In order to return items, please create a return label in your account under ‘Orders & Returns’.

If you would like to return a defected item, please issue a complaint beforehand.

Our returns are always free of charge. However, orders must be returned with the BestSecret return label provided online.

Here is a short guide on how to make a return:

Create return documents 

- You can find your most recent order under ‘Orders & Returns’. 

- Select the ‘Create return’ option. 

- Select the items you would like to return and provide a reason why. 

- Click ‘Continue’ and choose your preferred delivery company for your return. 

- As soon as you click on ‘Continue’ your return will be created and the return documents will be ready for printing.

Why was my payment method declined and what can I do? 

There are several reasons why a payment method can be declined:

Pay by Invoice 

The combination of name and address may not have been found. This could be due to typos, moving, marriage or a change of affiliation of an area to a different local community. 

There is an outstanding claim for a different order – which usually means that the transaction of a payment has not been booked yet or a return has not been processed yet. 

Like other platforms and shops we are consulting independent credit agencies to help us evaluate creditworthiness. In some cases it is possible that their data causes for pay by invoice not to be available.

Possible reasons why pay by invoice is not available

When deciding which payment methods we offer, we also take into account the total costs of each payment method. Certain payment methods are connected with higher costs, returns and risks.

Please be aware that our customer service does not have the possibility to enable a payment method when it is not available. It is also not possible for our service agents to provide information on why a method is not available. That is because the protection of your data has the highest priority for us.

Credit Card

If your credit card was declined, please check the following: 

Were the card details entered correctly?

Is the remaining limit sufficient?

Is the card still valid?

Is the card made out to another person’s name, e.g. a family member?

Is the authentication process* for your card unlocked (Visa Secure, Mastercard Identity Check, American Express SafeKey)?

If in doubt, you can delete the credit card details saved in your account and re-enter them (during the order process at the check-out). If the credit card is declined regardless, please try using a different payment method.
