How do I best care for my new beauty products?

Proper storage and maintenance are the key to keeping your beauty products fresh and effective for as long as possible. No matter if it's skincare, makeup, hair care, body care- you name it!

Generally, each item will have simple instructions on the product or packaging itself on how best to look after it. However, here are some handy tips that are good to keep in mind for all kinds of beauty products:

Always ensure to tightly close any lids or seals when you're not using them.

If you can, store them somewhere out of direct sun or lamp light (especially if the packaging is glass!).

Some formulations separate naturally and that's totally fine! It might look funky, but it's usually just due to temperature changes or oils/waters in the formula shifting while you're not using it. Simply give them a good shake and they'll be ready to go again.

For products like lipsticks or cream contours, disinfectant or alcohol wipes are a great way to keep the surface bacteria free and smooth.

Broken powders like eyeshadows/blushes can be super disappointing- but to still get use out of the powder, you can mix the broken powder with 2-3 drops of isopropyl alcohol and compress it with a small firm object (like the bottom of a shot glass) and a sheet of tissue. Leave it open for a few hours to dry and the powder will be good to use like normal again!

Some products may not have or display a set expiry date- instead they'll show a little symbol with an opened jar and a number (for example, like '12'). What this indicates is that the product is 'best before' 12 months from the time you've first opened it and exposed it to oxygen

Want to add a Gift Card to your Store Credit? It’s easy!

1. Log in to your account on THE ICONIC website or app.

2. Go to ‘Store Credit’ section under your account.

3. Enter the 16-digit Gift Card code into the provided field.

4. Add the value of your Gift Card, which will then be available for future purchases.

How do I redeem my Gift Card?

There are two easy ways for you to redeem THE ICONIC gift cards - check out the below:

Redeem at checkout

1. Shop as usual and add your items to the cart.

2. Proceed to checkout.

3. Enter the 16-digit Gift Card code in the "Apply voucher or gift card" field.

4. Apply the Gift Card to your order total.

Add to your store credit then redeem by using your store credit to make future purchases.

What are Ultimate Gift Cards?

Ultimate Gift Cards are prepaid gift cards run on the Visa network that carry a certain amount of spending power.

How do Ultimate Gift Cards work?

Each time the Ultimate Gift Card is used to make a purchase at participating retailers, that purchase amount is deducted from the card’s available balance. It cannot be used to withdraw cash at ATMs or EFTPOS facilities.

How do I use an Ultimate Gift Card online?

Enter the card information in the credit/debit card section and please ensure the current balance of the Ultimate Gift Card is enough for the entire purchase as ICONIC does not have an option for a split credit transaction.

Do Ultimate Gift Cards expire?

Yes, an Ultimate Gift Card will expire 36 months (3 years) from the date of purchase.

What if the value of the purchase I want to make is greater than the value/balance on the Ultimate Gift Card?

As ICONIC does not have an option for a split credit transaction, you will need to exchange your Ultimate Gift Card for an ICONIC E-Gift Card.

Exchanging your Ultimate Gift Card to an ICONIC E-Gift Card will allow you to make split purchases online by using the E-Gift Card as a form of payment and using another form of payment to pay the difference.
