Astra: Knights Of Veda - Beginner Tips

Don't Overlevel Your Starting Knights

ASTRA: Knights of Veda

Before you enter a map, the game will give you a recommended level, and while it may be tempting to spend all your upgrades to over-level your characters, avoid doing it for the time being.

The game gives you multiple Knights at the start, but these are lower level Knights, and you'll earn better ones as you keep playing. It's better to try out new Knights as you unlock them, incorporate them into your team, and bring them up to your current party's level.

Start over-leveling your characters once you establish your go-to Knights.

Enhance Equipment With Old Items

ASTRA: Knights of Veda

You may want to sell your old equipment for Gold, but you'll get more Gold than you need, especially early on. This isn't immediately clear, but you can use old equipment to strengthen your newer, better items.

While this is a great way to make your characters stronger, you can only strengthen equipment with the corresponding items. For instance, you can't use accessories to strengthen weapons.

Whenever you feel the need to make your weapons stronger, always use your weakest weapons first, since you get plenty of them and can save your upgrade items for better equipment.

If you're low on old equipment, go to the weapons seller in town. He'll have new wares every day, which you can purchase for just a few hundred Gold.

Spend Your Resources On Crystals

ASTRA: Knights of Veda

Speaking of how you use your resources, you should focus on Crystals for now. Crystals will give you one of two things: a Knight or a weapon.

Even if you get a repeat Knight, you can upgrade them to a stronger version of the character while keeping weapons or enhancing any you don't want. You'll want to do this until you have all the Knights or make your favorite characters stronger.

When you go to the Call Of The Stars menu, you have multiple ways to get more Crystals for free.

- Select the Exchange icon in the bottom-left corner.

Exchange Starstones for Crystals.

Offer Memories of the Stars for up to ten of them every 28 days.

Spend your Abyss of the Stars for them, but only do this after using Abyss of the Stars to get Nayan and Capecchi.

Once you have your Crystals, you should prioritize limited or special events, since they offer more. For instance, when you first start, you get the Start of the Call of the Stars special event, which lets you spend eight Crystals for ten rewards up to five times.

Use Dodges To Perform Animation Cancels

ASTRA: Knights of Veda

The dodge mechanic allows you to avoid damage with invincibility frames, but it also works as an animation cancel. If you press it during any of your attacks, you can immediately end them, offering multiple advantages in combat:

Get a quick hit in before dodging an enemy's attack.

Canceling immediately at the end of a combo to start another one.

Stop your current attack to avoid damage if it's not going to hit the enemy in time.

You can't spam dodges, but if you use them to avoid attacks, back off, and get back to fighting, you won't run out of Stamina.

Be careful with your skill timing. Use a skill when the enemy isn't attacking so you don't cancel the animation and miss out on damage.

Rotate Knights During Battle

ASTRA: Knights of Veda

You can have up to four Knights in your party during combat. Since you want to maximize your damage, it's crucial to do the following with your party.

Use a combo.

Unleash your skill.

Keep fighting until your skill is 25 percent refilled.

Swap to the next character and repeat.

Doing this will let you time your Knights so that when you return to them, your skills are ready or almost ready. Use your Ultimate Skills when they fill up as well to maximize damage further.

I changed my rating for the game after thinking about it. I loved watching the trailer and everything was just as they said. The graphics are stunning, the story is interesting, and the developers are nice. Yet there's a small problem that bothers me—it lags sometimes on animated or dialogue scenes. I really wish they fix it soon. Oh, by the way, I play on a phone with 8GB RAM and a Snapdragon 855.

Absolutely enjoying this game! It has all the makings of a fantastic RPG with its engaging story, thrilling battle mechanics, and top-notch quality. However, as a gacha game, there aren't many purchase choices available for players who prefer spending less money. Even though I'm already at level 30, I still haven't unlocked all character classes, one elemental type, or acquired rare weapons for my team. Despite these challenges, I'm managing to progress through the game somehow.

I started playing this game when it first came out worldwide, and I've spent a lot of time building up some strong characters. The game is so much fun, it's easily one of the best games I've played this year. But then they changed a few things in the latest update - now we can only try Calydon three times, which means it's even harder to get gold for building our characters.

I think the game is pretty good overall. The art, music, and combat are all well done. However, I find that ranged characters can be a bit difficult to control. If you want players to face challenges, it should be because they are truly being swamped by enemies, not just to push the story forward. Increase the number and strength of enemies to truly test players' skills. Also, I believe that auto play should not be introduced too early in the game. It would be better if it was limited to simpler tasks or side quests initially. If you introduce auto play too soon, it might discourage people from continuing to play.

So, first off, when I try to hop online, I can't seem to get a connection unless I switch on my VPN. It's a total struggle, you know? And then, there's this other issue - the server tends to act up, leading to this annoying freeze midway through the game. And then, on top of all that, the support for controllers is just all over the place! Whenever I try to use one, it's a disaster - every time I hit a button, the game stutters and even shows keyboard controls instead. Like seriously, if they could just fix these things, everything would be amazing. But because of all these headaches, I'm knocking off three stars. So yeah, gotta put my complaint out there.

Imagine if Dark Souls met a gacha game, but not everyone is doomed to die. This game feels like a precious secret to me, even though I've been relying on auto mode lately because of the laggy controls. I suspect it's my phone causing the issue and considering that there's an option for a controller, maybe the game is designed to be played that way. The intriguing story, captivating characters, and enchanting setting have completely captured my attention. I really wish this game gains more popularity and remains in the spotlight. Personally, I prefer playing against computer-controlled enemies rather than real players, but engaging in PvP matches is also enjoyable.

The story is like your usual fantasy medieval tale with a goddess you need to revive. She grants you her strength and all that stuff. The visuals, character animations, and story scenes are pretty impressive! However, the sound is out of sync which throws you off. But let me tell you, the combat system... oh boy, it's just not smooth enough and lacks that quick response you expect in an action role-playing game like this. I'll stick around for another week or two to see if it gets better, but honestly, I might just have to drop it eventually.

I enjoy playing the game a lot. The characters are really cool, and it's great that you get one after doing a 10 draw. Sometimes, when I try to choose an area to enter, the whole user interface disappears, making it impossible for me to select anything. I'm not sure what causes this issue. It's annoying to have to keep exiting the game and starting over. Also, receiving a lot of Co-op requests from people who are not on my friends list is frustrating. I'm sure there must be an option somewhere that allows me to turn that off.
