Tickets
I can't find my ticket in the app, where can I find it?
In the bottom right corner, you will find the section 'More', with a button labelled 'Ticket Wallet'. Check both 'Upcoming' and 'Archive' sections for your ticket.
Make sure you are logged in to your correct account, as sometimes you accidentally create multiple accounts, for example, via Apple Login
I would like to receive my ticket via email, how do I manage that?
In the Appic wallet within the app you’ll find your tickets. On your ticket are three dots, when pressed you can choose 'Email' among the ticket options.
Check your SPAM or Junk Email folder if you did not receive the ticket immediately.
Note: Tickets that you might have won with a wingame can’t be emailed.
Sealed tickets?
This means that the organisation has taken measures to prevent illegal ticket sales. These tickets cannot be offered on Ticketswap until they are released, usually 1 to 2 days before the event.
Logging in and my account
I would like to change my profile information, how do I do that?
Update your profile via your profile page in the 'More' menu. Click on your profile picture and select the three dots in the top right corner to edit your details. You can change your profile picture by clicking on the plus sign in the bottom right corner of your profile picture. Please note! We use your real name for tickets and guest lists, but you can choose a different display name in the app settings under Privacy. This 'nickname' is visible to other users.
I would like to remove a follower, how do I do this?
To remove a follower:
Go to your list of followers in the app
Click on the trash can icon behind the name of the person you want to remove as a follower.
You can also make your profile private via the Privacy menu in the 'More' menu. Additionally, you can set your check-ins to not be visible at events.
How can I delete my account?
You can delete your account via the Privacy item in the app menu. Go to the 'More' menu (bottom right on iOS, top left on Android), click on your profile picture, and select the three dots in the top right corner to access the Privacy item. At the bottom, you can delete your profile.
I'm receiving too many push notifications!
We send messages based on your interests such as music style, artists, and location. If you enter the wrong location or too many music styles, you may receive notifications for parties you're not interested in. If you continue to receive too many messages, you can disable notifications via the 'More menu' -> Communication -> Notifications.
Meet-up & Matches
I received a message that someone wants to meet me, what should I do?
If you want to meet someone, indicate who you'd like to have a drink with in the event's visitor list. If you press the heart icon next to someone who has also done it for you, it will come up as a match. Your match usually appears among the first 50 people on the list.
How can I delete a match?
You can remove a match by swiping left in your matches overview. A trash can icon will appear next to your match, which you can click to delete your match. You can find Your Matches among all your other chats.
Wingames
How does participating in a wingame work?
You pick a card where you think the prize will be. If you win a ticket, you’ll only need to pay a service fee to claim it. Sometimes you'll find multiple prizes in one game, such as Appic points or discount tickets.
Why do I have to pay for a wingame ticket?
After claiming your prize, you’ll need to pay a service fee for the ticket to receive it. These costs will be equal to the service fee you would’ve paid for a regular ticket from the organization. With these fees we ensure that only the most dedicated winners will claim their tickets.
I've won tickets, but I can't attend anymore.
Unfortunately, after paying your fee you can’t cancel your ticket.
I've won tickets, but I can't attend. Can I give my won tickets to someone else?
No, won tickets are personal and non-transferable. It's not possible to transfer a won ticket to another account.
What if an event is cancelled, but I've already paid the service fees?
If an event is cancelled, you will receive a refund of the service fee you've paid within 14 working days. You don't need to contact us for a refund.
I'm trying to claim a prize, but the time to claim it has expired!
You have 15 minutes to share the prize with a friend. After sharing, both of you usually have 12 hours to pay the service fees.
I can't attend the event for which I won tickets. Can I resell my won tickets?
Reselling won tickets is prohibited because the tickets are personal and non-transferable. If we notice this happening, we will block the tickets and/or your user account without warning.
I never win anything, how come?
The chance of winning in games depends on their popularity.
If you've attempted fraud with multiple accounts in the past, you may be blocked from winning prizes. Our system automatically blocks all accounts suspected of fraud, including winning tickets. Contact us for more information.
