Commission to publish list of eligible-uneligible candidates on Monday, jobless people to sit in front of SSC building
SSC is scheduled to publish the list of 'eligible-uneligible' candidates on Monday. However, there is speculation about whether the list will be published in the end or not. In this situation, the agitating teachers have called for a procession to the SSC office on Monday.
Protest of jobless people.
The School Service Commission is scheduled to publish the list of eligible-uneligible candidates on Monday. It is reported that the list may be published in the evening. In that atmosphere, the agitating teachers and education workers said that as long as the list is not made public, they will sit in front of the SSC building. The jobless people will take their next decision only after seeing what the statement of that list will be, or whether they are satisfied with the list or not.
The Supreme Court has given permission to teachers who are not 'tainted' according to the 2016 SSC recruitment panel to go to school for the time being. However, the previous verdict remains in force for education workers. The SSC is scheduled to publish the list of 'qualified and ineligible' on Monday. However, there is speculation about whether the list will be published in the end or not. In this situation, the agitating teachers have called for a procession to the SSC office on Monday. The procession will start from Salt Lake Karunamoyee at 12 noon. They have also warned that they will continue to sit in front of the SSC office until the commission publishes the list. In this regard, Chinmoy Mandal, convener of the unemployed organization 'Yogya Shiksha, Shikshika and Shiksha Akramki Odhikar Mancha', said, "We are not standing on just one demand. As a result, the movement will not end as soon as the list is published. The next decision will be taken after considering all aspects of the statement of the list, what is in it, and whether we are satisfied with it or not. If necessary, the road can be blocked and the sit-in can continue continuously." Another representative of the unemployed platform, Mohammad Abdullah Al Manjum, said, "The next decision will be made after looking at not only the publication of the list, but also the statement in that list, whether the SSC is admitting its fault or not."
Since the Supreme Court's verdict on the cancellation of the jobs of about 26,000 teachers and education workers, the unemployed have been demanding that the list of eligible candidates be published. On April 11, representatives of teachers and education workers also met with Education Minister Bratya Basu at Bikash Bhavan to demand this. SSC Chairman Siddharth Majumdar was present at the meeting. On that day, the protesters left the meeting and said that they had been assured of publishing the list of 'eligible' and 'uneligible' candidates by April 21. Education Minister Bratya also said that the SSC will try to publish the list of eligible candidates by that day after taking legal advice. Now the unemployed are looking at that. On the other hand, the unemployed and protesting education workers are also scheduled to meet with Ramanuj Gangopadhyay, President of the Central Board of Secondary Education, on Monday afternoon. As a result, they too can be at the march location on Monday.
