All BPS products can be retrieved and stored on your Android device. Publications and BRS are available for download in PDF format, while both Dynamic Tables and Static Tables can be downloaded as Excel files, and infographics are provided in JPG format.

The data presented encompasses all regions of Indonesia. Users can select specific areas, whether national, provincial, or urban, through the Select Region menu.

If you find it challenging to locate a specific product, this application features a search function or filter for each BPS product. Simply enter the keyword, and the application will retrieve results based on the input, displaying them conveniently on a single page.

BPS General Information

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is a non-ministerial government institution directly responsible to the President. Previously, BPS was the Central Bureau of Statistics, established under Law Number 6 of 1960 concerning the Census and Law Number 7 of 1960 concerning Statistics. Law Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics replaced these two laws. Based on this law, followed by subsequent regulations, the name of the Central Bureau of Statistics was formally changed to the Central Statistics Agency.

The new content of Law Number 16 of 1997 includes:

Types of statistics, based on their intended use, consist of basic statistics, which are conducted entirely by BPS; sectoral statistics, which are conducted by government agencies independently or in collaboration with BPS; and special statistics, which are conducted by institutions, organizations, individuals, and/or other community elements, independently or in collaboration with BPS.

The statistical results compiled by BPS are announced regularly and transparently in the Official Statistics News (BRS) to facilitate public access to and/or access to the necessary data.

A reliable, effective, and efficient National Statistics System.

The Statistical Community Forum was established as a forum to accommodate the aspirations of the statistics community, tasked with providing advice and considerations to BPS.

Based on the aforementioned law, the roles of BPS are as follows:

Providing data needed by the government and the public. This data is obtained from censuses or surveys conducted by BPS itself and also from other government departments or institutions as secondary data.

Assisting statistical activities in ministries, government agencies, or other institutions in developing a national statistics system.

Developing and promoting standards for statistical techniques and methodologies, and providing services in the field of statistical education and training.

Building collaborations with international institutions and other countries for the benefit of Indonesia's statistical development. 

BPS Vision and Mission

By considering performance achievements, taking into account public aspirations, potential and challenges, and realizing the President and Vice President's Vision, the Central Statistics Agency's vision for 2020-2024 is:

"Provider of Qualified Statistical Data for Advanced Indonesia"

This new vision means that BPS plays a role in providing national and international statistical data, to produce statistics that are accurate and reflect the actual situation, in order to support Advanced Indonesia.

With this new vision, BPS's existence as a provider of statistical data and information becomes increasingly important, as it plays a central role and influence in providing quality statistics not only in Indonesia but also globally. This vision also further strengthens BPS's role as a statistical data developer.

The BPS mission is formulated by taking into account the functions and authorities of BPS, its vision, and the implementation of the Presidential and Vice Presidential Missions: 1 (Improving the Quality of Indonesian Human Resources), 2 (Productive, Independent, and Competitive Economic Structure), and 3 (Equitable and Just Development). These objectives are outlined as follows:

Providing high-quality statistics that meet national and international standards

Fostering Ministries/Institutions/Regional Government Agencies (K/L/D/I) through a sustainable National Statistics System

Achieving excellent service in the field of statistics to achieve the National Statistics System

Developing superior and adaptive human resources based on the values of professionalism, integrity, and trustworthiness
