Utilize the All Screen Sender application to transmit images, videos, and music to this Receiver app. It is designed for use on Android-based televisions and set-top boxes, serving as the receiver for media sent from the All Screen Sender app installed on Android smartphones.

Please note: This app is not intended for mobile devices. If you're using a mobile phone, you should install the All Screen Sender app, which is available for download.

All Screen Receiver: Effortless Media Expansion for the Big Screen Experience

As someone who frequently shares content from my phone to larger displays, the All Screen Receiver app has fundamentally streamlined my viewing experience by eliminating the usual frustrations of casting technology. Its singular purpose as a dedicated receiver for the Sender app ensures flawless compatibility and setup simplicity – installation on my Android TV took seconds, and the app instantly detected my phone running All Screen Sender without any complex configuration or network fiddling. The true brilliance lies in its performance: transmitting high-resolution photos is nearly instantaneous, preserving every detail, while videos, even lengthy 4K files, play back smoothly without buffering or noticeable lag, creating a genuinely seamless living room theater experience. Music streaming is similarly robust, maintaining audio clarity for hours without a single dropout, perfect for hosting gatherings.

Unlike built-in TV casting solutions, which often prioritize brand ecosystems, All Screen Receiver’s focused functionality is its strength. It doesn’t clutter the interface with unnecessary features or ads; it simply does one thing exceptionally well. The assurance that it runs reliably in the background on my TV, ready to receive whenever I open the Sender app on my phone, makes spontaneous sharing effortless. While designed specifically for TV hardware, this deliberate limitation ensures stability and resource efficiency my smart display needs. All Screen Receiver transforms passive viewing into an active, shared experience – it’s the invisible, reliable bridge that effortlessly unlocks the full potential of your television using your phone.

Key Questions Answered (From Hands-On Use):

Is setup complicated? Not at all. Install the Receiver on your TV/STB and the Sender app on your Android phone. They discover each other automatically on the same Wi-Fi network – zero manual pairing required.

How’s video playback quality? Excellent. 1080p and 4K videos stream smoothly with minimal delay, matching the original file quality far better than many proprietary casting solutions.

Does it drain the TV or phone battery? No noticeable impact. The Receiver app runs efficiently on TV hardware, and the Sender app functions similarly to standard media playback on your phone.

Can I use this on a phone or tablet? Crucially, No. The Receiver app is explicitly designed for Android TVs and Set-Top Boxes only. Attempting to install it on a mobile device serves no purpose; use the dedicated All Screen Sender app on phones instead.

Are there hidden costs or ads? None observed. It’s a free utility that performs its core function cleanly without interruptions or monetization attempts.

What sets it apart from built-in casting (e.g., Chromecast)? Its laser focus: dedicated sender/receiver pairing ensures faster, more reliable connection times, superior file format compatibility (especially high-res videos), and a smoother overall performance without ecosystem lock-in.

That sounds really frustrating. You download an app, excited to use it, and then it just redirects you somewhere else. It feels pointless. You expect functionality and end up with a dead end. Have you considered checking if there are any updates or other options within the app? Sometimes developers fix issues with new versions.

It connected perfectly the first time. After that, it completely stopped recognizing my Firestick. So frustrating!

Sounds like you’re having trouble with some apps using the Google API on your phone. That can be frustrating! First, try restarting your device. Sometimes a simple reboot helps. If that doesn’t work, check if the app has any updates available. An outdated app might cause issues. You could also clear the app cache in your phone's settings. This often resolves many problems. If the issue persists, see if other users are facing similar problems. Sometimes it's a larger problem with the API itself. Looking at forums or support pages can provide insights. If nothing else works, consider reinstalling the app.

After using this app for years, I never thought to check the reviews. It's shocking to see all the negative feedback. This app isn't really made for those who struggle with technology. It's perfect for someone who has a hard time picking a movie on Netflix or Hulu but already has the file. The app runs smoothly if you're tech-savvy. Navigating your phone's settings and files is essential. Avoid relying on social media browsers for this one.

Stuck on the home screen? Frustrating! Try these quick fixes. First, restart your device. Press and hold the power button until you see the option to reboot. If that doesn’t help, try clearing the cache of your launcher. Go to settings, find apps, then select your launcher. Once there, clear the cache. If issues continue, check for software updates. Sometimes a quick update solves problems. Lastly, consider resetting your device to factory settings. This step erases everything, so back up important data first. Hopefully, one of these steps gets you moving again!

This is great! I downloaded it just to give it a shot. My S4 played video through the transmitter app to my tablet with the receiver app, and everything worked perfectly. No interruptions at all! I wish it used the whole screen instead of just media though. That feels a bit limiting. Still, it functioned well, so no need to complain about its performance.
