I really do enjoy this game and have played it extensively. However, this is the second time now that all of my competitive rankings have been reset, and it was not a reset requested by me. I was in the middle of playing level 13 and when it completed, all the other levels became grayed out with question marks instead of rankings and it kicked me back to level 1. Really frustrating as I had a number of results in the top 100.
I purchased the game because I wanted to play without interruptions. I restarted the level if I had planes collide because I wanted to complete the level perfectly. It took me a couple weeks to beat all of the levels & the higher the level the more time takes. 20+ minutes per level is daunting. I like the game but it's disappointing in difficulty on the later levels. You just have to move more planes on the same maps. Working on competitive levels now & there's an assortment of maps.
Nice improvement from first one even though I loved landing planes myself (or having them crash). Crashes are less punitive than in AC1. Repair trucks needs to be fixed: since they cannot be rerouted once launched (nor can a second truck reach a stalled plane) it sometimes leads to jams with no possible resolution. Also, pausing/unpausing the game sometimes makes the game go full speed.
Really cool game. My issue with the game was the way the difficulty is designed. As you progress to higher levels, the difficulty is solely based on number of planes landed and time completed in. Try to find a different way to make the later levels harder rather than just increasing the number of planes and time. It got too repetitive in the end and levels took 20-30 min which is way too long for 1 level.
Pretty fun game. It's an arc game that both looks good and plays pretty well. I don't mind having to juggle a lot in this game. A big problem i have is that after playing for a while the game seems to soft lock itself by the timer counts down and instead of reopening to get another plane in, it just doesnt expire. I'm not sure if this is a feature or oversight. But it's a bit jarring and the only way to get out is to crash enough planned to force the level to end.
Great game, as addictive as the previous game with improved graphics and features. [Edit] Following the most recent update which included the addition of survival mode again it definitely deserves the full 5 stars! For new players it might not be an issue, but for those who played v1 it takes until around level 26 for it to be challenging or even feel completely like the original game, but from there onwards it does become more challenging as the levels progress. It's worth sticking with it!
Great game. Easy to understand, harder to master. But not too hard. One improvement for the game is to reduce randomness in the levels. What "stations" are needed for the first 3-4 planes makes the difference in getting 2 or 3 stars. But restarting a level "rerolls" what stations are asked. Same goes for when planes break. Breakdown seems random, the same level can have a different amount of breakdown on different playthroughs.
Great game, delightfully challenging from chapter 4 onwards, just when you think it's too easy. Some levels took me upwards of 15 tries until I got the hang of it. Level 80 took me over a week and level 81 I managed to complete 1st time with 3 seconds left. Survival mode is great, but I'd love more standard levels as well to keep me invested. Would also be great to have some kind of mechanic to use up the Money or Points gained from doing the levels. It could easily become a 5 star game then!
