Aetna Health - Health insurance management

The app lacks clear visibility which makes it difficult to complete tasks. Aetna's website also sacrifices functionality for a visually pleasing design. Each time I open the app, it prompts me to enable fingerprint ID, which I do. However, it never seems to work and keeps asking me over and over if I want to set it up again. It would be helpful if the preference could stay consistent.

Thank you for your valuable feedback! I mainly use the app for bill payments. It's convenient to have all my bills grouped together instead of paying each one separately. I hope in the future there will be an option to save my credit card details in the app, so I don't have to enter them every time. It would also be nice to see a zero balance when I've made payments outside the app. When searching for healthcare providers, not all primary care doctors are listed. The medical information could use more details. For example, one vaccine category is too vague with just "vaccine" without additional information.

Up until now, it's been simple to get and use digital cards.

I want a new feature where users can see their claims easily. The current information is too general, and you have to click each one to get more details. I suggest adding a personal editable area that only we can see. I could type my own description there, saving me from clicking through multiple claims every time I log in to find the specific information I need.

When using a pihole or other ad blocker on your network, the application won't even load. It just stays at a white screen without doing anything. If the app requires metrics and other trackers to function properly, then it's not something I want or will use. I noticed that at least 3 trackers were blocked when I tried to load the app. There could be more, but I can't confirm if they are from somewhere else on my network. If the trackers are removed, I would be willing to test the app again.

You know when you open the app, you only see your basic information and it's kind of hard to move around. Then they ask if you want to see "my member benefits," which I thought was what I was already looking at. But surprise! It kicks you out of the app and suddenly you're on their website. And guess what? You have to log in all over again! Why even bother with the app if every time you need something you end up on their website? Such a waste of time. I'm deleting it!

While I was busy working, the app kept asking me over and over to turn on the fingerprint feature, even though it was already turned on. The ordering prescription system seemed to fail, however, I later received an email confirming that the order was actually successful. Then, when I tried to switch insurance providers (the new one also works with Aetna), the terms of use page wouldn't load properly - I couldn't click on any of the links. It turned out that the problem was caused by an adblock service that I was using. Now, I'm left wondering why this happened despite using a standard adblock service.

Picture this: there's this super simple app that doesn't do much, and no one's taking care of it. So, you're looking for a walk-in clinic, which already needs a search, right? And when you find results, guess what? Each result only shows one location's address. Imagine you see five locations but if you click on any, the app just shows the same address every time. The mapping and directions are just as bad. Overall, it's clear this app isn't worth a second look.
