Game Controls

The game controls are relatively easy to master, with a minimal learning curve. Below are the default game controls:

- Moving around the Cue Stick

On the bottom of the screen, there is a virtual cue stick. Use this feature to steer, aim, and align your shot. Drag it left or right, up or down to set your cue ball's direction.

- Adjust Shot Strength

There is a sliding control that you can use to adjust the shot's power. Drag the circle icon on the right to raise or decrease the power of your shot.

This game looks fantastic and has a great idea behind it. The problem lies in the pay-to-win aspect. Players with better cues can aim more accurately, but it feels strange. The physics don't mimic reality, and sometimes the cue ball behaves randomly. Cheaters are a major issue too. They have perfect aim every time, sinking every shot effortlessly. Matchmaking doesn't make sense either. A level 7 player gets matched with someone at level 50 who uses a powerful paid cue. Playing like that takes away the fun.

Network connections keep dropping. Playing suddenly stops without warning. Update from October 27 made everything look weird. Screens are all tall and squished, really frustrating. It used to work perfectly before this update. Now, it feels glitchy. The only way to recover game data is through Facebook. Connecting to Facebook seems unnecessary for many people.

The gameplay feels quick and straightforward. Sometimes the aiming gets a bit tricky, making large movements instead of just small adjustments. I experienced one moment where the game seemed to cheat, denying my chance to sink the 8 ball and handing it over to the opponent, which lost me the game. Still, this app performs better than Billard City. That one frustrated me with its aiming issues. Here, I had several smooth games without any hassle from the controls. I find myself missing Virtual Pool a bit, though.

You’ve been diving back into that game, and it feels amazing. But then, the whole pocket choosing part gets frustrating. Time runs out before you can make a choice, and then your opponent gets the advantage with "ball in hand." It doesn't seem fair at all, especially since they have no issues picking their pockets. It's so annoying when glitches get in the way of the fun. You keep hoping for a fix, but nothing changes. The frustration just builds, leading to thoughts of uninstalling for good. You've given it plenty of chances, and it feels like this problem might push you over the edge. That last straw is coming soon.

This pool app stands out as the best one around. The mechanics feel realistic, and the controls work smoothly. Five stars without a doubt! A couple of concerns did pop up. First, there’s no option to play with friends in the no-guideline match mode. My friends and I prefer that style. Also, there’s a lack of affordable 3D no-guideline rooms, which leaves them empty. Hope those points get some attention!

Absolutely love this game! It’s my go-to for relaxation every day. Just a couple of things could make it better for me. First, having the option to set my favorite game as the default would save some scrolling time each time I log in. Secondly, it would be awesome to have a "best of 3?" option in the chat menu. Those two tweaks would really enhance the experience!

The mechanics feel really off in this game, especially in 3D mode. It seems like they're designed to frustrate rather than enhance. You find yourself face down on the pool table. Trying to aim at the ball is a challenge because you end up hitting everything else. Most of the time, you're just struggling to drag yourself off the table. Using two hands would make it easier, maybe even more fun. There could be potential for an upgrade that improves the experience, something to look forward to.
