How does It Work

With YO Mobile, a customer in the U.S. can register as the account holder and add up to 10 lines on a single family plan, including their own line. While the account holder must reside in the U.S., the additional lines can feature a mix of different plan options for either the U.S. or Mexico.

As you add more lines, you’ll also receive additional discounts, making it even more affordable to keep your family connected.

All plans include free international calling and international roaming between the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, ensuring seamless communication across borders.

Transfer Guide

1. Check Compatibility. Ensure your phone and number are eligible for transfer to YO Mobile.‍

2. Gather Information from Your Current Carrier

- Use our A to Z list below to find out how to transfer your number by carrier.

- Log into your account with your previous carrier or call them directly.

- Locate your account number.

- Obtain your PIN or Number Transfer PIN (depending on your carrier) associated with your account.

- Make sure you know your billing address, including the ZIP code.

3. Activate Number in the YO Mobile App. Download the YO Mobile app from the App Store or Google Play to complete the activation process.

Tips for transferring your phone number to YO Mobile

Keep your current service's SIM card in so you won't miss any calls or texts (even the ones you might want to miss on purpose).

Once we send you confirmation that your transfer is complete, make sure your new YO Mobile SIM card is in your phone to continue receiving calls and texts at your number.

Remember: Checking eligibility doesn't affect your current service. You can check as many numbers as you need without interrupting your service.
